You were awoken by the soft tapping of rain on the roof. It was 8:30, which was rather early for you to wake up, and you could already tell that there was no hope for falling back asleep, no matter how deep you snuggled into your pillow. Sitting up, you noticed that your favorite bedhead wasn't beside you, which was odd, considering the two of you had a sleepover at your place. Surprisingly, the sun wasn't shining as bright as it normally would be. Maybe it was just behind rain clouds.
Sliding out of bed, something smelled good. Really good. Was Kuroo still here? Walking out of your room, you made your way to the kitchen. Getting to the open doorway you saw Kuroo making breakfast and heard soft familiar humming. Inching closer, the humming got louder, and you felt more at home. Leaning against his back, you could feel the vibrations of his humming, and you almost melted. Not long after, you heard him chuckle as he turned to face you.
" Morning Kitty, how'd you sleep?"
