01 | Driving

"Mama! Look, mama!" Akio yells, his eyes shimmering. "Not right now, Akio." Shoyo says, trying to focus on the highway. Akio yawns. "When are we gonna get there?" Akio says. "Not for a while." Shoyo says. "Awhh. I really wanna see Nagisa!" Akio says, swinging his legs in excitement. Nagisa Kuroo, Kenma and Tetsurō's son. Kageyama and Shoyo decided to leave Akio at the Kuroo's for a sleepover. About 30 minutes later, there finally arrived. Akio rushes out the door. Shoyo opens the trunk, taking out a bag Akio packed for their sleepover. Akio rings the doorbell 3 times. "Akio! Don't be rude!" Shoyo says. "Hello?" Kenma says, opening the door. Akio rushes in the house, looking for Nagisa. "AKIO!" Shoyo yells. "He's a handful, huh?" Kenma says, laughing. "Yeah, and it's a pain since I've been stuck with him for a few days now." Shoyo says. "Huh, is that so?" Kenma says, helping Shoyo in. "Yeah, Kageyama is away on a business trip." Shoyo says. "Well anyways, how about you? How have you been doing?" Shoyo says. "Oh, fine. Kuroo has been a pain in the ass asking me for another kid." Kenma says. "Oya Oya Oya? Did I hear my name?" Kuroo says, poking his head out from the kitchen. "Oh, hey Shoyo." Kuroo says. Shoyo gives Kuroo a little nod 'hello'. "Anyways, I'm not having another child, that's for sure." Kenma says loudly, hoping Kuroo heard what he said. "We'll see about that!" Kuroo yells from the kitchen. Shoyo chuckles. "I wouldn't survive if I had another child, Akio is already a handful." Shoyo says, sliding himself onto a chair. "I agree. One child is all I can handle right now." Kenma says, sitting down. The two talk for a while, not knowing the time that is going by. "Jeez, time does fly when your having fun." Shoyo says, looking at the time on his phone. "I should get going, before it gets dark." Shoyo says. "Well, alright. Do you want me to drive you?" Kenma says. "Oh no it's alright. It would a lot of trouble for you to drive me back home." Shoyo says. He goes upstairs to Nagisa's room. He finds the two boys asleep. Shoyo kisses Akio's fourhead then goes back downstairs. "Are you sure you don't want me to drive you back? It's nothing, really." Kenma says. "No, no. I'm fine driving on my own." Shoyo says, putting his shoes and coat on. "Well alright.." Kenma says. "Night!" Shoyo says. Kuroo and Kenma wave goodbye. "Hope you don't get kidnapped!" Kuroo says jokingly. "Oh, ha ha." Shoya yells back, getting in his car. He pulls away from their driveway and drives away. "Don't worry. He'll be fine." Kuroo says, wraping his hands around Kenma. "I know.." Kenma says.

Shoyo blasts some music off his playlist. He hums along with the song. As he drives he looks in the mirror. He notices a bag sitting in the backseat. He quickly realizes that it is Akio's bag with his clothes in it. "I- Akio!" Shoyo thinks. Shoyo reaches for the bag and-
