My Weird Encounter

Ch.1

I wanna say it was last week or the week before(note, just wanted to say this happened I think the end of last year or the beginning of this year). But I was in my mom's craft room with her (she was getting some stuff since we were trying to make face mask we saw YouTube), but anyways, I went over to one of the lamps and tried to turn it on, but I it wouldn't turn on, so I asked my mom about it and she said it's been broken/not work for a long time. So I was like oh ok, so we left the room and went about our day and stuff. But later that night we were watching something on Netflix and I was reading books on my phone as usual and noticed my phone's battery was low, so I went to go get my power cord from my room, I noticed the craft room next to my room seemed to have a light on. So I went in to turn it off and found out that it was the lamp I tried turning on earlier that same day. So I asked my mom and dad if they turned the light on in there, and they said no. So at that point I was freaking out and creeped out since just before I moved back into my parents house since because of Covid-19 my mom let the cat out of the bag to one of our family friends that's she's been seeing a dark shadowy figure walking around the house during the day(my mom knows that I don't like anything paranormal like ghost stuff and so she told me to cover my ears before she told our friends, and so I pretended to cover my ears listened in on the conversation cause I was curious as to what she was going to tell them since I'm kinda of a nosey person.) So when I found out about it, I was really freaked out. Anyways, I had my dad close the door and if your wondering I turned the light off and unplugged it, that way if it some how magically comes back on, I will know it wasn't from natural causes. Anyways, so that's my freaky little story that happened to me recently. Also I have been keeping a eye on the room next to me cause thats just freaky
