A tampered soul, battle ready, steel hardened
But couldn't be saved by the dark tides
That swallow up the pride
That was left behind from another's eyes
Terribly written in the night sky
Drowning from something that couldn't be finished
Anger, hate, trouble, coincidence, pattern
All because you couldn't see the other side
Of this painful past, present and future
Doubt ridden fears
Pain riddled hearts
Fragile egos damaged
No one truly understands
Why this generation was left behind
To fend for themselves within this
Troubled world
Left there defenseless
From their unbridled homes
Dismembered hearts, tattered souls, demolished dreams
No words can explain the imagery left behind
After something no one knew was coming
Even from what remains
No one can fix the heartless beings
Who refused to help those in need
A dog eat dog world
With so much to spare
Not even a blade of grass
Could be saved from this hellfire
