Breaking to Pieces

Narrators POV

"Come on, Noah. Pick up." Stella said with teary eyes and a knot in her throat. She had just started back homeschool for the semester because she couldn't handle the stress of real school. She had also started dating Hayden Summerall after "Little Do You Know" came out and found out he cheated on her a few minutes ago.

Ever since she started school she knew Hayden had been acting different but didn't think he was cheating. Stella would ask him day after day if everything was alright and he would just say 'everything's fine. you worry to much.' This continued until 5 minutes before Riley White, her best friend besides Noah, sent her a photo of Hayden and a girl named Gracie Hamblen kissing.

"Hello?" Noah mumbled as he answered the phone. She had completely forgot he was at school. She hoped he didn't mind.

"He cheated on me." Stella said, letting her tears fall.

"Oh my god are you serious?" Noah said, getting furious I might add.

"R-riley sent me a s-snap of him and a-a-another girl kissing. Noah I can't do this. Why would he do that?" Stella sobbed.

"I don't know Stell. Some people are just terrible like that. I'm so sorry." Noah said, feeling genuinely sorry for the girl. Noah may have liked Stella and was jealous of hers and Hayden's relationship but he didn't want her to be heartbroken.

"I love him, but he broke my heart. How could he do that? I can't let him go like this, No." Stella cried.

"Sometimes you have to let go of people to be the best version of yourself you can be. I'm so sorry Stell. He shouldn't have done this to you. You definitely don't deserve it." Noah said.

"I-I'm home alone. I have no one to be here for me. Everyone is either at school or work. I don't know what to do, No. I just feel so alone." Stella answered. Her mom worked full time at the hospital

"Just hang in there. I have two hours of school left and then we can text while I fly to Atlanta ok? I have to finish school." Noah said sadly.

"O-ok. I love you No." Stella said trying to hold back tears.

"I love you too Stell. I'll talk to you after school." Noah said ending the call.

"WHY DID HE DO THIS?" Stella screamed. She loved Hayden. He lied about everything. She was so heartbroken. There was nothing she could do about it either. All Stella could do what sit there.

Sit there breaking to pieces.
