We didn't want a large wedding; truthfully, I think half the reason why we wanted something simple was because we wanted to get married as fast as possible. Being engaged was exciting, but we were both more than ready to be each others wife, so why drag it out?

However, our families got involved, and a small wedding quickly turned into a modest size wedding. It was planned by our Mothers to the T; they'd booked a hotel for the venue, hired a florist and a band, and they did up all of the invitations and gift bags. Every single thing, they did.

All I had to do was pick out my dress and show up. Of course, there were a few little details I had to double check, but for the most part our Mothers were unstoppable.

We were engaged for four months; which was about three months longer than I'd wanted. But for our families, and in the opinions of many others, four months was fairly quick.

All of my sisters had been engaged for a year or more; they'd spent so much time and energy and money on planning their weddings. For months, that's all they'd done, all for it to be over in a mere 24 hours.

I didn't care about the wedding; not because I didn't care about her or our relationship, but because it wasn't the wedding that lasted.

It was the marriage.

So I didn't care what we wore, where we were, or who was watching. I didn't care what we ate or if there were presents or flowers; as long as she was there, I was happy.

Finally, the night before the wedding, Addie and I were figuring out some last minute details, minor things really, with Sutton babbling baby talk in the background. She was now six months old, and she was showing her personality a lot more.

Whereas Riley was a spitfire, a complete terror one minute and an angel the next, Sutton seemed to be more mellow; she was calmer, less mischievous, and she absolutely loved Arizona.

The second Addison arrived, she looked around for Arizona. It was quite obvious she was disappointed at the sight of me, and me alone.

"Well it's good to see you too, Sutt" I joke, smiling foolishly at her, coaxing a small smile. "I know I'm not Aunt Arizona, but you'll have to make do" I hold out my arms for her, and she hesitates for a moment, before putting her arms out for me too.

"She loves you too, Ames" Addie has smiled upon arrival, kicking off her shoes and shrugging off her jacket, before dropping the diaper bag by the door. "She just vibes better with Arizona, just like how Riley vibes better with you"

Holding the baby sent this surge of motherly desire through my body. I wanted one of my own, a baby that referred to me as Mama, one that I could love and protect and raise to be a good human being.

"Ugh, I want one" I sigh, putting my hand protectively over the top of Sutton's fuzzy little head, my lips resting on her forehead.

"Okay, calm down. Let's work on getting you married first" Addie laughed, pulling the pack 'n' play we kept at our place out of the guest bedroom to put Sutton safely in it while we worked out last minute details.

"We need to finalize what jewelry I'm wearing tomorrow, the final copy of the set list was set over by the band so we have to look at over for any issues, and I have to do my toenails" I list off, thinking of the first few things that came to mind. "There's probably more, but those are the ones that pop into my mind immediately"

There was always too much to be done; I was worried that this entire thing would go horribly, and if it did, I was going to be pissed. Four months of waiting for her to be my wife only for the whole day to be ruined.
