chapter twelve

Roses POV

"Oh my god. Spencer this can't be happening, that note is a fucking death threat, he is going to kill me."

Who knew an envelope full of photos and notes with such a short yet powerful sentence could affect you the way it was right now.  You were pacing back and forth in fear before Spencer looks up, examining the items you were given.

"Rose no, you are not going to die I promise. We need to take you home now though because this isn't safe for you right now."

Spencer places his hand around your lower back as he guides you from the donut shop all the way back to the hotel parking lot until you both get back to the room, being extra careful of your surroundings.

"Spencer this doesn't make any sense, how does he even know where we were? And how does he even know who you are?" 

The entire car ride back to your place your mind was running wild, you weren't sure what was going to happen once the rest of Spencer's team found out about this and the fact that you both have been becoming rather close.

"Truthfully I have no idea Rose, but I will figure this out okay? I don't want you to worry."

"Spencer it's kinda hard not to worry when someone wants me, you know, dead."

"Look I will try to tell Hotch about this before you and your parents come to the station so he's in the loop."

"Won't he be mad that you've been seeing me in secret since you got to Miami?"

"He'll probably be upset that I wasn't honest with him but that's all. Trust me that man loves me."

You let out a small laugh in response to Spencer as you feel the car slowly come to a stop as you see him pull up to your house.

"Looks like we're here." Spencer says as he puts the car in park and turns his body to you.

"I guess I'll see you later then, thank you for everything and good luck with Hotch." You lean over and give him a quick kiss on the cheek before unbuckling your seatbelt and exiting the SUV as you run up to the gate for the guards to open it.

You're greeted by both Juanita and Lu with hugs as soon as your body is inside the door. "Finally you're here, we both missed you mija! Can we make you anything, you must be hungry!" 

"I missed you guys too, I actually had breakfast but thank you guys. Have you guys seen my mom?"

"Last I saw she was in her office."

You thank the two ladies as he leaves the entrance and walks over to your moms office to see her reading a book, she doesn't seem to see you notice you so you walk up to her and stand there as she closes her book and greets you.

"Oh you're back, how was Katrinas?" 

Not sure mom since she slept with Agent Morgan.

"It was fun. I actually came here to ask why we're going to talk to the BAU today, you guys didn't tell me anything till today when dad called me and told me."

"Oh we just forgot mija don't worry about it, also please tell Sergio he's coming with us so make sure so he can get ready.

"When are we leaving?"

"We're leaving in an hour." 

"Okay, I'll go let him know then." You turn your back and start walking towards the door when your mom says something.

"Mija whose clothes are you wearing by the way? They look a little big."

Crap, you forgot you were still in Spencer's clothes.
