When Liam went downstairs the following morning he was met by the stupidly wide smiling faces of five people and one wolf. Not that they weren't smiley in general but they were being too weird at the moment.

"What's happening?"

They kept bugging his curiosity until Harry decided to be the nicest one and talked.

"We turned you into a werewolf yesterday. Now you're one of us."

The rest grinned at him while Liam stared at Harry and tried to process the information about being a member of the pack, living forever, stopping growing but most importantly being a wolf. Even the concept of immortality didn't intrigue him as much as the possible color of his wolf form. Was he whiter than snow like Louis, darker than ink like Zayn, warm brown like Niall, or classy grey like the rest?

"How do I transfer?" he asked energetically, having no idea what to do.

"Just concentrate. Focus on your thoughts and emotions."

Liam closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to do so. He waited for a few seconds, opened his eyes, and quickly looked at himself. He was still a human. The rest looked at him expectantly, wanting to see his wolf form just as much as he did. He tried again, this time also fisting his hands. He focused more and waited longer. His head was getting heavy and he felt dizzy. Hyper with the occuring symptoms he immediately opened his eyes and tried to look at his back to see if he had a tail, although knowing that he was standing on two feet made it clear that he was still human.

The others' expressions changed from excitement to regret but Liam tried again. This time he subconsciously started stomping his feet and moving a bit sideways to get his body into some kind of motion. Instead of gasps and amazement he only heard chuckles and understood that his small movements looked ridiculous, especially since he was a human doing a weird mini dance in the middle of the room. He huffed and opened his eyes, giving up.

"Hey, you're still a werewolf. Now stop pouting and come celebrate with us." Niall told him and pulled back a chair for him.

Liam joined them around the table and kept thanking as they congratulated him. Even without a wolf form he was having the best day of his now unending life.

After the celebratory breakfast Zayn, Harry, and Niall were off to work. Liam was mostly upstairs, trying his art stuff with Louis, who was as curious as the boy. After hours of improvising new techniques on the canvas, some paint ended up on Louis' fur and he somehow managed to take his revenge by doing the same to Liam with his paws.

It was already evening when they finally went to the loving room to join Gigi and Bella. The younger Hadid was near the coffee table, working on something on her laptop, while Gigi was on the couch, trying to find a good movie on the TV. Obviously, the boys decided to join Gigi and watch a movie, leaving Bella alone with her work. But since there were no satisfyingly amazing films Gigi settled down for a romantic comedy with the same little girl childhood flashbacks, a clumsy moment that turns into a cute first meeting, sarcastic friends that are way cooler than the main characters, lots of foolish misunderstandings, breaking up with the cheesiest lines nobody uses in real life, of course the girl moving away, a grand finale scene in the airport, the guy that for some reason realized that he couldn't live without the girl as if she's one of his kidneys, running to the plane and making the audience wonder who the hell even let him in, they kiss after like two lines of dialogue, the end, there is popcorn all around you, bye! Even the Hadids found the girly movie boring. But Bella seemed to be focused on something else. She walked away from her laptop and took out her phone, directing it towards the trio on the couch. Gigi looked at her in confusion.

"What?"

"Just look down."

Gigi turned around to find Liam's head leaning on her shoulder, his body pressed to her side to keep himself warm, his mouth slightly ajar, and his eyelids keeping him away from reality and deeply inside his subconsciousness. And next to him, looking just as peaceful and innocent, was the huge bundle of fluff, Louis, curled on the couch and resting his head in Liam's lap, looking like a big soft blanket around the boy. Bella managed to capture Gigi's kill-me-now-this-is-so-freaking-adorable face, even though she was feeling the same but hiding it behind her cool persona.

"Zayn's gonna be jelous for not being here right now." Gigi whispered and rested her chin on top of Liam's head.

Bella agreed and put her phone away, wanting to join them and laugh at the ending of the cliche movie, when suddenly Louis'head that was tiredly nuzzled near Liam's stomach, flinched and was lifted momentarily. His whole body radiated tension as he focused on the window. Liam only moved a bit, feeling the weight disappearing from his legs, but didn't wake up. Gigi and Bella looked at the wolf carefully.

"What is it, Lou?"

But the wolf didn't tear it's attention away from the window. He slowly got up and walked to the window. Bella followed him and barely got a chance to take a look when the wolf growled and bared it's teeth. She got a glimpse of a groups of armed men getting close to the mansion and hurried to Gigi and Liam.

"Get up. Now!"

She ran to lock the door, while Gigi woke Liam up, who dazedly looked around and almost fell as Gigi pulled him up.

"Louis, come!" Bella called him, as the wolf was in a ready attacking position near the door.

But Bella pulled him with them, as they got out of the mansion through the backdoor. Liam panicked as he felt how nervous the Hadid sisters were and Louis was making them hurry, as he stopped and looked back at them. He heard the men circling around the mansion and knew they figured where the group was. Gigi and Bella quickly transformed into their wolf forms to make their escape quicker, and Gigi hurried to get her head between Liam's legs and make him sit on her back. She didn't wait for him to process what was happening and ran forward with Bella and Louis, glad that Liam intuitively clinged to her fur and didn't fall down. Both Gigi and Bella were taller than the white wolf and were quick like jaguars. Liam couldn't manage to see anything as the wind hit his eyes to harshly and made him hide his face in the grey fur.

They could clearly hear the voices from behind and it was clear that they weren't going to escape the men. Once they got to large rocks in the middle of the forest, their road was blocked. Gigi turned her head and pulled on Liam's jeans, indicating that he should get down from her back. As he did so Louis stood in front of him, leaving him between his shielding body and the rocks, while the two bigger wolves stood in front of them and growled. Gigi howled right before the men got close to them and the fight started.
