Chapter Four

:Lisa's POV:

I take Christopher's hand softly as the two of us run towards the Thousand Winds Temple, where Amber is waiting for us.

15 minutes later

Christopher and I finally arrive at the Thousand Winds Temple after taking down a hilichurl camp. We see Amber standing there smiling happily.

Amber: Hey Lisa!

Lisa: Hey Amber!

Amber and I share a hug as Christopher stands there confused

Lisa: Oh Amber! This is Christopher! He's a local traveller who arrived in Mondstat yesterday.

Amber: Hi! It's nice to meet you, Christopher!

Christopher: Nice to meet you too Amber.

Amber and Christopher share a handshake and smile at each other

Christopher: So, I heard there was a task of some sort that you wanted us to do?

Amber: That is correct. You see, in this temple, there are a lot of hilichurls, abyss mages and slimes, and it's up to us three of to clear all of them out and restore the temple to its originality.

Christopher: Sounds good.

Christopher pulls out his Blackcliff Longsword and tosses it between his hands non-challantly

Amber: Well you seem eager Christopher!

Christopher: Hah! This is nothing, you should see me when I fight. Im terrible at fighting.

Amber and I giggle.

Lisa: Im sure you aren't that bad Christopher. Your probably just nervous, Amber and I just have to see what your fighting style is like.

Amber: Lisa's right. Your probably nervous Christopher now let us go into this temple, and slay those monsters.

Lisa/Christopher: Got it.

Amber, Christopher and I walk into the temple and see the first wave of monsters, the hilichurls. Amber starts shooting firey arrows at the hilichurls, I start zapping the hilichurls, but Christopher the sweetheart throws his sword like a boomerang, slaying all the hilichurls in one fell swoop. The sword then flies back and he catches it by the handle.

Christopher: Wait..what just happened?

Amber: I-I think we found your special ability with your sword.

Christopher: Special ability?

Lisa: Yes dear, everyone has a special ability! Amber has firey arrows, I have electricity, and you have a boomerang sword!

Christopher: Sweet! Now let's go and kick more ass!

Christopher backflips and smiles as I giggle

5 minutes later

:Christopher's POV:

Amber, Lisa and I slay the slimes successfully. We now start fighting the abyss mages. I slingshot my sword towards them and slay 3 in one shot as Lisa and Amber take down the remaining 4.

Lisa: Wow, who knew Christopher could fight

Christopher: Oh please, it was a team effort. We all played a part as a team and slayed all of the monsters

Amber: He does have a point

Lisa: Can't argue with that

I smile as I retrieve my sword and put it on my back

Christopher: Job well-done guys! Now let's get out of here and go for a walk, or we could get something to eat

Amber: Ooo! I heard that Good Hunter has a new Sweet Madame! I have been dying to try that!

Lisa: That sounds good! But I'll stick with a Satisfying Salad.

Christopher: Hmm, I have no idea what either of those are so I guess I'll have to see what I want when I get there

I laugh a little as Amber and Lisa giggle. The three of us start walking out of the temple, then we hear a sort of grumble in the ground.

Christopher: What was that..?

Lisa: I don't know..but whatever it is...I-Im kind of scared of it...

A dark, grey light shines in the middle of the temple as an abyss mage shaped, inky black figure appears.

Abyss Mage Grimm: I see you three have woken me up from my sleep. Now YOU SHALL PAY.

Lisa/Amber: Oh crap..

Lisa and Amber hide behind me and grab either one of my shoulders as I pull out my Blackcliff Longsword

Christopher: If its a fight you want, THEN ITS A FIGHT YOUR GETTING!

I dart towards the inky abyss mage gripping my swords handle tightly.
