Chapter 2: Family on my side

Castiel could see Dean smiling at him.

"Well nice Chatting with you Cas, I need to get going," he said. "Here's my phone number , we could talk sometime soon ?"

Cas nodded and took out his hand for Dean to write in his numbers as he left.

The rain stopped when he got outside to the desolated streets , nowhere to go.

He didn't know where to go. Castiel had avoided his house , which was the only place he had left.

There was a long stretch of Silence before someone had shouted his name.

He turned to see who it was. The Girl was walking towards him with her wavy Auburn hair and mild eyes just like himself.

"Cas ! You come here this instance ," she shrieked , trying to get a hold of Cas.

He shook his head.

"I'm not going back to the house," he said , trying to remain calm but the girl has grabbed his Trenchcoat sleves.

"There is nowhere else for you to go," She cried again.

"Anna please-"

"I'm sorry Cas but I'm your sister and you should do what I tell you now."

Anna tugged on his sleves pulling him down the Street before he could argue more.

They went down an Alley and turned to a House.

Anna reached for her keys as Cas's face turned pale as paper.

He couldn't see him. He is sick of him.

His Sister turned on the light and before he knew it His brother stood infront of him.

"You Running away again?" He said menacingly."Who gives you the right ?"

"Gabriel I-" Cas couldn't finish his words because Gabriel, his brother , had held his neck.

"Your Lucky I gave you shelter when no one else would have," Gabe stranggled him as he choked and tried to wriggle free from his grip.

"You pathetic Little Thing I should have let you wander out there alone," He cried , releasing Cas as he slump down to the floor.

He could hear the door slam shut before him then.

Anna , who had been seeing the incident, ran towards Cas.

"I'm fine," he said short.

"I'm sorry that you have to have this happen to you , but this is the only place you have and you can't keep on running away."

He got on his feet and shoved his Shirt.

"Why do we have to be with him Anna ? Why can't we leave him ?" Cas had asked her this almost Everyday in his life But her answer would always be;

"He's the only Family we got and he accepted us when no one else would," she squeezed his arm, Warm in his touch.

"Go to sleep little bro and you'll forget all of this by morning," She whispered and slammed the door behind her.

He shuddered. How could he live like this much longer ? Her brother Scolding him For things he did not do. Is it because he's just a pathethic little brother ?

Cas laid in his bed as he remembered his childhood past.

The House where he lived with his siblings; Balthazar , Bartholomew , Hannah , Anna , Gabriel and himself - the youngest from the six.

Gabe was always the fiercest from All his brother and would gladly fight him if he had disobeyed His father.

He just enjoyed the endless summer breeze and Looking up at the bees that produced their yellow Honey.

Their father would go out on road trips for weeks or even months and so they had to take care of themselves.

"Don't you think we deserve some time out from all the work ?" Balthy said one day." Let's have a go on some place."

Everyone nodded , except for Anna who was always the Patient one from the six.

"Don't you think we should stay here ? Father warned us not to Go out from the house," She cried.

Balthazar chuckled.

"I'm eighteen Anna , what could go wrong ?" He shouted back as he grabbed the key to the car.

"I'm staying here ," she whispered.

Cas who had been looking about from his brothers to Anna gave her sister a hug.

"I'm staying with you."

She smiled as she patted His back.

"Your choice Castiel ," Gabe shouted and went inside the car , driving away from the house.

It has been three days by then , their Father have not yet to return and so was their Brothers and sister.

Anna had cried for two days restlessly but Cas could only hold her tight and said that maybe they are on a road trip to the Sea of Mermaids (( hey he's eight )) which only made her cry even more.

Then the news came on.

Before Cas could think more of his childhood memories he had fallen fast asleep in his bed.

"Gabe please stop this nonsense with Cas," Anna pleaded beside him.

"Don't you remember that time in the Car trip ?"

"Yes but it wasn't his fault-"

"It all happens because of him ! Isn't that why He is pathethic ?!" Gabe cried.

"Stop ! Stop just stop it !" She cried." I don't want to hear any of it but shouldn't we tell Castiel about us and about him being-"

"No, I could not risk it," He said , holding up his hand."I don't think he'll ever understand."

Anna eventually nodded in agreement. He understood her fragile little brother who she had tried to safe from.

"For now lets stick to that plan of killing that Beast," He said." He owes more than Castiel."
