Flashback
It was a lovely gloomy day, with a grey light sky. Then suddenly, when the bells chimed together, I heard the soft blaring of doorbells. In the hope that Axel has actually arrived, I perked my head up, but obviously, it was not him. I gazed longingly at the gleaming lights of the cars that passed the street, the lights appeared to stand out because of this dull weather.
I was on a date with Axel, my boyfriend for almost three years now, he was one of my best friends in high school, and I have known him since my sophomore year in high school. Well, I was supposed to be with him on a date. But, he was late again, very late. I've been sitting here for nearly two and a half hours, all dressed up. Ten minutes later, my phone began vibrating and buzzing. I had finally gotten a call from him. A warm grin shone on my lips, as I picked up the phone.
"Hey, uhmm, I'm sorry, I can't make it today, I have a big family dinner," he began, all the enthusiasm in me died at this and turned into rage, because it was the third time he had cancelled our date like this.
"Seriously, again? It's just for a few hours!" I blurted out without thinking, but quickly regretted it, his family dinner was quite strange, if I say so from my experience. It is not like I have anything against his parents, they're just. . . I don't even know. Nowadays, he had dinner with his family, almost every week of this month. It's certainly not the best to be screamed at.
"I-I mean," I cut him off.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know, it's just — The past few days have been so overwhelming and you know how it is, I get stressed out and stuff. I didn't mean it," I lied, inhaling sharply as I continued, "It's all right, I get it. But you'd better be here next time, or I might burn down your place or I have a another great idea, I'll just tell your mom, she's going to go crazy on you," I said playfully.
"No, you wouldn't!" he exclaimed quickly.
"Oh, I'm going to!"
"I'll see you later, love you!" he said.
The three terms, "I love you," no longer held the love, it was long gone. Those were just three empty words, brushing away my thoughts, I left the restaurant.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY I DON'T KNOW?!" I shouted and he huffed in frustration.
"I can't do this anymore, I can't just do it, all right?" he said and I scoffed, shaking my head from sided to side with a rosen eyebrow.
"Of course, you can't do this anymore! Can't you hear me? Didn't I ask you why? ANSWER ME!" I shouted in a stretched voice, slamming a glass bottle on the nearest wall, shattering it into shards. This has been going on hours now, I wasn't sure of what I was saying or what I was trying to say, but I was clear of one thing: I wanted to know why.
