Decision making wasn't something that Sekhani Reed would consider himself good at. Ever since he was a young child, he always seemed to make the wrong decisions.
Whether it be something as simple as putting the wrong answer on a test or picking the wrong group of friends, Sekhani had terrible skills when it came to making a decision.
Loud thuds were the only thing that could be heard throughout the dense forest. The crunching of leaves and snapping of twigs were evident as he darted through the trees.
He couldn't hear anything over his loud breathing and fast heart beat which seemed to scream in his ears.
His legs ached and begged for him to stop but he knew that all it would take was one pause, one trip, one little mistake and it could be the end of him.
So he powered on, dodging trees and leaping over logs, refusing to let this be his last moment.
"You can't run forever, Sekhani." The voice that haunted him travelled through the wind and reached his ears.
The blue-eyed boy didn't turn around but he scoffed loudly.
He had been fighting too hard for this to be the end so with a sneer on his lips, he shouted to the person behind him. "Watch me!"
