Chapter One - Do you think love can bloom, even at a Taco Bell?

(Authors note: This story is a joke. Its a combination of all the stupidest shit my brain can produce. Take everything you read with a grain of salt.)

It was a normal day at Shadow Moses Nuclear Weapons Disposal Facility. Dr. Hal "Otacon" Emmerich was on break and decided to go to the Taco Bell for lunch. Yes there is a Taco Bell at Shadow Moses, that Liquid Snake is banned from for some reason.

It felt good for Hal to get a break from developing nuclear death weapons every once it a while. They always tell you, 'remember kids, you can be a scientist one day!' And not, 'remember kids, you can be a scientist one day to be forced by the government to make nuclear walking battle tanks!" It never bothered Hal too much, but he sat down to drink his gamer Baja Blast anyway.

As he looked up, his soul left his body. The hottest man he had ever seen sat at the table across from him. No, it was not Solid Snake, (he hadn't met him yet 👉👈).

A tall, defined, anthropomorphic mouse with a sombrero sat across from him.
Hal, trying to hide his blushing, wondered how he could ever be in league with this man. He had never been very physically attractive, just this skinny, curly haired otaku that invented death weapons.

The mouse looked up smoothly, scanning the area. Hal pushed his glasses up to avoid eye contact.

It seemed only half a second went by before the rat walked up to his table.

"Is this seat taken?" The mouse asked sexily.

Hal, red as a belt-beaten asscheek, responded,

"N-no"

Sitting down, the mouse pushed his sombrero up. "Name's Speedy Gonzales, fastest mouse in Mexico. I was just traveling and decided to stop here for lunch."

Hal wondered how an anthropomorphic mouse got into the high security facility in the first place, but decided not to question it.

"Might you and I hang out sometime, Emmerich?"

Hal forgot he was wearing his ID nametag at first.

"Uh- sure?" He blushed.

He knew this mouse seemed to be jumping into things real quick, but he didn't feel like stopping it.

"I've still got an hour of my break left, and besides, I'm not allowed to leave the lab otherwise, its just me after FOXHOUND took over."

Speedy nodded with a sexy smile. "Sounds great."
