Naruto waved his friend goodbye and set off. He knew he'd be in more danger moving around, but he wanted to try and find Itachi. His chakra was still weak, so it'd be a challenge. The unwanted person following him grinned. In his hand was a piece of ripped cloth from Naruto's old clothes.
"I'm so close to having you."
Naruto felt a shiver run up his spine and he sneezed. Someone was talking about him. But who wasn't right now? Sasuke has gone crazy....Orochimaru suddenly wants him, and it was all because he couldn't get his love life in order. And Itachi...he missed him so much.
"Itachi..."
Naruto came to a forked road and decided to take the right path. The shadow following him stopped, hearing what Naruto said. He lied down at the cloth.
"Itachi...He'll be a problem. Hehe...I think I just got an idea."
Itachi sighed a bit as he and Kyu sat by a tree. He pondered to himself about what he should do. Of course, Orochimaru would have to die. There was no way he'd let him go. But Sasuke...he was no longer the little brother that he knew. His crimes would have to be judged by the village and Naruto. Naruto...Itachi looked up at the sky. He missed his blonde so much. Was he safe? Did he miss him just as much? Itachi hugged himself, pretending Naruto was there in his arms.
"I miss you..."
"Really? Is that what you've boiled down to Itachi?"
Itachi opened hs eyes, seeing Kakashi in front of him. Wait a minute...Kakashi? Where was Sasuke? Itachi stood up and looked around.
"He's not with me. I turned away for a moment to see if he'd leave and he did. Pakkun is following him though."
(Pakkun is the small pug that Kakashi summons. He's so kawaii~! You can google him if you want.)
"Because he knows he's guilty. I don't have a bone in my body that tells me he didn't kidnap Naruto and put him in all this mess."
"I feel the same way. But we can't just accuse him because he has an alibi."
Itachi didn't believe that. He looked out to the sky and sighed. Naruto must've been alone, and scared. Or worse...he couldn't think about the worse. But it made him want to hero going. Kyu jumped up as he caught a slight familiar scent. Naruto. He jumped up and ran off as fast as he could. Itachi and Kakashi followed behind.
"What's wrong with him?"
"He must smell Naruto. We have to hurry."
They rushed deeper into the forest. The mysterious person placed the ripped cloth on the left side of the same forked road and hid away. When Itachi discovered it, he and Itachi went down the left path. Away from Naruto. The man stepped out of the shadows and chuckled in delight. It was Sasuke.
"Now that he's out of the way, Naruto...You're all mine."
He followed down the right path Naruto had taken. Soon catching up to him. Naruto turned but didn't have time to run as Sasuke knocked him out, lifting him up in his arms. Pakkun gasped and headed off to Kakashi and Itachi. He knew where Naruto was. And where Sasuke was headed with him.
