Flying in the trees to avoid being noticed, you came up next to a motorway.
"Whoa! Were flying faster then the cars! We'll definitely beat Rookery to Transylvania!" Tony cheered. You looked ahead and began to try and locate some place for Rudolph to rest when you saw that the sun would rise soon. Rudolph seemed to notice too.
"Sunrise. we're not gonna make it." He said grimly.
"Buuuut the sun is your problem, not ours." Tony said, smirking. You flew down to a grave yard and landed, allowing the boys off your back before shifting. You patted the cows head and grinned at her when she wagged her tail.
"You stay here while we keep going." You said, lightly punching Rudolph on the shoulder, "Get some sleep."
He smiled at you before flying over to a coffin, opening it and saw that inside was a skeleton.
"Occupied." He mumbled, flying over to another one. This time it was empty. He looked down sadly at the coffin and said,
"I failed my family."
"How long have you been thirteen?" You asked.
"Three hundred years." Rudolph replied.
"Then quit acting like a baby and grow up!" Tony said, and Rudolph scoffed slightly.
"Look, you've got us this far, just tell us how to get to the catacombs." Tony said, crossing his arms. Rudolph simply turned and looked at you with an expectant look.
"We just need to follow the road, can't miss it, full of dead people and reeks of Vampire." You said.
"I'm getting used to that." Tony sighed.
"Rookery blocked off the entrance to our catacomb with a steel net, you need his special spanner to open it." Rudolph informed.
"Spanner? You mean wrench? we'll get it! You just stay out of the sun." Tony said, and the Cow quickly shoved Rudolph over and into the coffin, causing you to erupt into a fit of giggles.
"You too." You said, patting the cow on the head. Looking around, she flew over to a small shed and closed the door with her hoof. Rudolph sighed and sat up, gripping Tony's arms and pulling him into a hug.
"Please be careful." He said, before letting Tony go and flying toward you. Grabbing your hand, he brought it up to his face and kissed your knuckles before also kissing your cheek.
"Stay safe, love. I'll meet you tonight." He spoke quietly. A small blush settled onto your face, and you wrapped your arms around the vampire.
"I will, Rudolph, I will." Looking up at him, you smiled and pushed him toward the coffin.
"Now go to sleep. Don't make me knock you out." You smirked, and Rudolph quickly went inside the coffin, closing the lid over himself. Smiling, you and Tony began to head towards the road.
-------------------------
Climbing up the side of the mountain and up onto the road, you and Tony walked along the side, waving at a tractor driver. The familiar scent of Rookery had you pulling Tony down in front of the car closest to you as you watched him and Manny. Following your gaze, Tony's breath hitched and he hid behind the car a little more.
