Ollie's P.O.V.

Hi, my name is Olivia Beauregard, but my friends call me Ollie. I'm 20 years old, and I'm in a group called The Wiggettes. Yes, named after this other group called The Wiggles, only our's is all girls, and the other is all boys.

Anyway, here's who's in The Wiggettes with me...

First, Melanie Garcia. She's 22 years old, wears a pink Wiggette shirt, and is dating the yellow shirted Wiggle, Greg.

Next, Rachael Peterson. She's 25 years old, wears a light blue Wiggette shirt, and is dating the blue shirted Wiggle, Anthony.

Finally, Megan Williams. She's 23 years old, wears a green Wiggette shirt, and is dating the purple shirted Wiggle, Jeff.

As for me, I wear a periwinkle Wiggette shirt, and I'm dating the red shirted Wiggle, Murray.

Us girls happen to have different hobbies than our boyfriends. As you all know, Greg loves magic tricks, Anthony loves to eat, Jeff loves to sleep, and Murray loves playing the guitar.

I love to draw, Melanie loves jump roping, Rachael loves to read, and Megan loves to swim.

In our group, we basically do the same things our boyfriends do. I'm the lead singer, Megan plays the drums, Rachael plays the guitar, and Melanie plays the keyboard.

Now that you've learned about me and my friends, let's get on with my story.

The year is 1962. At this very moment, The Wiggles are performing on stage. After they're done, me and the girls are scheduled to go next. Every time we wait backstage, us girls always end up singing and dancing along to the songs.

Believe me, the song the boys are singing right now is my all time favorite!

Alright everybody. Let's all get ready to point our fingers and we'll do the twist. Here we go

Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
(Everybody's twisting, Greg)
Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
(We're all doing the twist)
Well, we're gonna go up, then go down
Get back up and turn around
Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
(What's next, Greg? What's next?)

Can you stand on one foot and shake your hands?
(Oh, boy. That's hard!)
Can you stand on one foot and shake your hands?
(Shaky, shaky)
Now, we're gonna go up then go down
Get back up and turn around
Can you stand on one foot and shake your hands?
(What's next, Greg? What's next?)

Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
(Pointy, pointy, pointy)
Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
(I'm doin' the twist really fast, Greg)
Now, we're gonna go up then go down
Get back up and turn around
Can you point your fingers and do the twist?

The crowd cheers after they finished their song. After a few more songs, our boyfriends came backstage and we gave them all hugs and kisses. "Guys, that was excellent!" Said Melanie. "Thank you, Melanie. But I think you girls are gonna be even better." Said Greg. "I agree. Knock 'em dead, ladies!" Said Anthony.

A voice over the loudspeaker echoed through the theater at one point.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please welcome The Wiggettes!

"That's your cue, girls. Get out there and make us proud!" Said Jeff. As me and the rest of my group walked onto the stage, the crowd cheered.

Before I go any further and tell you more about the concert, let me fill you in on our songs.

Since the Wiggles and Wiggettes are pretty much a partnership group, our boyfriends were nice enough to let us sing their songs.

Anyway, let's get back on track.

The girls and I got into position and started singing our first song, which happens to be a favorite of Melanie's.

We're gonna do the monkey (oh oh ah ah oh oh ah ah)
Do the monkey (oh oh ah ah oh oh ah ah)
Monkey, Monkey (oh oh ah ah oh oh ah ah)
That's alright

Do the elephant (sound of elephant trumpeting)
Do the elephant (sound of elephant trumpeting)
Do the elephant (sound of elephant trumpeting)
That's alright

Jump to the front and the back (repeat monkey sound here)
Jump to the front and the back (repeat monkey sound here)
Come on and Jump to the front and the back (repeat monkey sound here)

Do the tiger (roar)
Do the tiger (roar)
Tiger, Tiger (roar)
That's alright

We're gonna do the monkey (oh oh ah ah oh oh ah ah)
Do the monkey (oh oh ah ah oh oh ah ah)
Do the elephant (sound of elephant trumpeting)
The tiger, tiger (roar, roar, roar)

We sang four more songs after this one, and it was so doggone fun! Anyway, after we finished our set, we caught up with our boyfriends backstage. They were so excited after they saw us come over. "That was absolutely marvelous, ladies! Ollie, I'm always put into a trance whenever you start singing!" Said Murray. "Thank you, Murray. When we go back to Wigglehouse, the girls and I have something to share with you boys." I said. "What is it, Ollie?" Anthony asked. "It's a surprise, my dear Anthony." Said Rachael.

After doing the final curtain call, all eight of us made our way back to Wigglehouse.
