After an almost entire day at the beach, the five packed their stuff back up and retreated back into their cars so they could go to their next location for the evening.

"I can't believe you guys actually followed me here," Liánhuā sighed as she turned to the group at the bar while putting her face mask on.

"You're the one who let us in," Tiānshǐ reasoned, going to sip on a glass of mango juice while the ravenette put her hair up in a bun using a wooden hair stick.

"You would have just pestered me from the outside and driven off my customers," she scoffed as the others prepared to open for the evening, "It's less of a hassle to just take you in before y'alldo any damage."

"That's fair," Jasmine chuckled with a large grin painted across her face before a small bell chimed, signaling the entrance of new customers.

"Welcome back, Mr. Jihao and friend!" greeted the ravenette as the males in black and white took the same spot they did the night before.

"Hi again, A-Lián!" the male chirped in return causing the younger group to look up at the ravenette who's eyes were widened as well.

"Jihao," the taller of the two scolded upon seeing how the waitress froze in her spot from behind the bar, still holding onto the glass she was about to put back on the shelf.

She was honestly left speechless at the considerably affectionate nickname that was just given to her by the man she had only met the night before, but she quickly shook her head and just brushed off the comment, continuing her current task.

"I honestly don't mind, but are you sure you want to call me that when we've just met?" questioned the woman as she walked over to their table with two glasses of water.

"Trust me, I have a feeling we'll be seeing each other a lot in the future," Jihao replied before meeting the warning glance of his companion.

"This is Laozhū, by the way," he continued with a closed eye smile, completely ignoring the male that sat across from him, "I don't think that you were able to catch his name last time."

"It's nice to meet you, Laozhū," she spoke while bowing towards the male in white who wordlessly returned the action with a bow of his own.

"Now that introductions are out of the way," she continued while pulling out a pen and notepad, "What can I get y'all for tonight?"

After taking their orders, which differed from what they got the night before, the woman started heading back only to be stopped by Jihao calling out her name.

"We could actually use your help with something," he started once she turned back to face the two with a raise brow.

"Oh? With what?" she mused while resting a hand on her hip, "And are you sure I'd be the right person to help you?"

"We're looking for someone," Laozhū replied as he looked up at the woman while releasing the smallest bit of his aura, her eyes momentarily flashing gold in return.

"This is definitely not the right place or time to be talking about something like that," she whispered with a sigh as she cracked her neck.

After a few moments she looked around the tavern which was slowly filling up with more people before saying, "I'll be back."

Liánhuā then turned to deliver the order back to the kitchen and prepped their drinks as her friends gave her questioning looks.

"Don't worry," she chirped reassuringly as she placed the alcohol and fresh tea onto her tray, "We were just making some small talk."
