Chapter one: Bitchy bee

For weeks now, Adam had noticed the shift in his and Barry's friendship. His orbs never failing to notice the way Barry's buzzer rises with every slight touch they share. He was no saint though...Oh no, no, no.

Adam himself was experiencing such affections for the charming bee he called his best friend. His buzzer and mind betraying him whenever Barry returned to the hive dripped in sticky, sweet pollen.

The tightness in his throat was becoming unbearable. He'd like to call himself quite the sophisticated bee. His studies and dreams of becoming a worker bee being his main focus...or at least that was until his attraction to Barry begun.

It all started once to two of them came back from summer break. Barry had spent the majority of his summer at his parents beach hive, while Adam devoted himself to his studies. Thus having little to no physical communication. Sure, they called from time to time, but it wasn't the same.

The day he saw Barry come back to the hive with both a larger buzzer and a new haircut, he could have sworn he heard the bee gods buzzing.

Despite this, Adam pushed away any feelings of lust towards his severely attractive best friend, assuming the childish feelings would go away on its own.

"Adam! Over here!" A familiar voice buzzed.

Oh, how wrong he was.
