Ways of a Witch

Chapter 3

Bonnie pov:

It's been three days scene enzo walked out the Mystic grill door and not calling me.  I'm so confused...  I don't know what I did wrong but I'm going to try and call him today.  Hopefully he picks up and tells me why he walked out, and hopefully he knows that I know that he is not human. 

I close the journal and head to the Salvatore house, after all I spend most of my time there.  When I get there I see Damon and enzo together in the living room talking. 

"Enzo?" I call out shocked that he didn't tell me he was coming here. 

"Looked who showed up" replied Damon and Enzo at the same time. 

"What do you mean, showed up"

I was confused so I checked my phone and there is a text message from Enzo saying, "Hey I'm with Damon why don't you come over to his house?"

"See I told you" Enzo said with a grin from ear to ear on his face.  It was almost as if he was blushing.  I smiled back and sat down next to Damon, after all I don't know what kind of supernatural thing Enzo is.  

"So why don't ya'll tell me how you guys know each other?" I commented as Stefan, Damon's little brother, walks in.  He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt on with blue jeans on.  He had this smile on his face while he leaned on the brown wood door frame with dirty blond hair and a small nose.  No one payed attention to him and Damon rattled on. 

I wasn't really paying attention but I heard something about Them being locked up in a cell in the 50s and some Augustine person doing experiments on them.  But this didn't answer why Damon said I'm so sorry before.  I didn't ask questions though. 

I then blurted out, "Enzo you're a vampire!"

He looked surprised as if he thought I already knew.  

"Yes, I'm a vampire, but what are you?"

"I'm a witch" 

he laughed then looked at my face and could tell I was being serious. 

"OMG I'm so sorry I didn't know you were being serious."

Somehow this day made me want him more. Somehow I wanted him all to my-self and no one else could have him.  

I then asked if he wanted to go on a date with me.  

he ignored me. 

"ENZO, God Dammit she's asking you out don't ignore her." Damon yelled and scared both me and enzo. 

"Sorry I zoned out, what was that?"  Enzo said almost as if he was asking for forgiveness. 

I got really annoyed and stormed out, onto the porch. 

I got outside and storming after me was Enzo.  

"I'm really sorry Bonnie for real."

"It's okay I'm used to it." I can't believe I lied to his face, I'm not used to being ignored even though it happens to me everyday. 

"What I said was, do you want to maybe go grab dinner?" I second guessed my-self after he took a long pause and said "never mind" with a loud sigh at the end. 

"No I would love to" Enzo replied.  

"I'll text you the details!" I was yelling as I was walking to my car.

I got home and texted Enzo, "Mystic Grill tomorrow at 8pm. Don't be late. ttyl"

I pull out my journal not knowing what to write, and finally think of something.  

I asked out my crush today, Enzo. I really think I love him.  He is really cute and really funny.  I hope we can live together sometime.  He is a vampire and I'm a witch, I think that would work out don't you think.  He friends with Damon but I think that something happened between them in the 50s causing them to not meet up for a long time. 

I closed my journal and went to sleep, hoping that tomorrow would be a good day.
