Josh's POV

As I am walking home from my work.I started thinking about my family and Maya.

For me this the normal.I have been thinking about going back to New York for four years now.

After the first year I really just missed my family Especially Maya.Every day for the past 5 years I have been thinking about Maya.

Flash back

Especially that one time when I called my mom for our annual six-month call.That we only have twice a Year. I heard this little giggle in the background. As I heard my dad say "Something Matthews get your little butt over here right now." In a joking manner.

I then started to wonder who was he talking to because Auggie's too old for that.Then I heard Maya's laugh for the first time in a 2 years. I then asked my mom "Mom was that Maya mom if that was Maya let me talk to her please."

Then my mom said "Honey are you hearing things Maya's not here."

I then took a deep breath and said
"Mom I know Maya's laugh by heart she's the love of my life how would I not know her laugh." I then heard some frantic moving in the background and my mom saying "Honey I'm so sorry I have to go." In a rushed Manor.

*End of flash back*

Ever since that day I wondered how Maya was doing and why would my mom lie to me that Maya was not there. Obviously there. And when I heard my dad say"get your little butt over here." I thought did Cory and Topanga have another kid but then I remembered Topanga can't have anymore kids.Also They would of told me.So who was that little kid in the background.

I've been snap out of my thoughts when I see I'm a block away from my apartment. Once I get inside my apartment I throw my keys down on the table and go to my room and change into my pajamas.

After I put on my pajamas I plopped down on my bed as I check my phone. Just to make sure I don't have any texts. I then get my computer from the edge of the bed.

As I open my computer and Type the password I see my lock screen of 5 years it's a picture on me and Maya in Hawaii.

I then started too really miss Maya so I went to my files where my photos are in with me and Maya. Also some pictures I stole off of "Instagram" and I started looking through them as memories came in waves.

As soon as I finished looking at the pictures.

I go into my closet and get out the box of pictures of me and Maya.In there was also some of her stuff she left at my house before we broke up.

2 hours later......

After three glasses of Whiskey and a lot of Tears I finally finish going through the box. As I was looking through the box I took a trip down to Memory Lane.

As I was putting the Box away I started thinking about.If I just didn't take the job I would still have them my love of my life.We will probably be married by now and having our first child together.

I then go back to my bed and open my computer and I searched flights from Italy to New York.

I then consider it for a little bit but overall I decided against it.If I want to go I would have to quit my job and that will take about 2 weeks.

I then close my computer and thinking about going back to New York in 2 weeks for good.

Did you guys get where I put like that tiny little detail about how somebody would tell Josh if Topanga is pregnant and him and Maya will probably having their first kid right now.

Also this chapter is a little different because it's by Josh's point of view.

Also I'm so sorry I couldn't update yesterday I had this huge project due. I also watched "Clouds on Disney plus"yesterday I was destroyed for the rest of the night and I'm still destroyed.

Okay I know nobody's going to comment but what do you think Josh is going to do do you think he's going to stay in Italy or go to New York for good

As I said my updating days are Sunday and if I'm busy on Sunday or I can update on Sunday I update on Mondays right now I do not know about the holidays.I will decide when the time comes when i will update
