3- Tony

(Y/N) was enjoying her day off from work when her phone started to ring. She abandoned the movie she was watching when she saw Rhodey's name pop up on the screen. She pressed the answer button and spoke,

"Hey Rhodes, what's up?"

His voice was thick with emotion as he replied,

"(Y/N) you need to get to the tower ASAP. Tony was ambushed and he's in bad shape."

The phone slipped from her grasp and clattered to the floor. She and Tony had been best friends since they were young, and he was the only one that knew about her... abilities. When she was little she found out that she had the power to control and create electricity. But when her powers ended up killing her mother... she swore to never use them again. 

Tony was the most important person in the world to her and if anything were to happen to him, she didn't know what she would do with herself.

It didn't take her long to get to the tower, but with the raging thunderstorm currently going on, she nearly got into more than a few accidents on the way. 

(Y/N) ran into the room Tony was in, only to see him laying lifeless on the hospital bed. She pushed passed the other Avengers until she was by his side. The heart monitor he was hooked up to was flatlining and doctors were rushing to get it started again. Tears started running down her flushed cheeks and they were just about to shock him when the worst possible thing that could have happened... happened. 

The power went out.

"Oh my god..." The doctor mumbled.

Clint looked up at him and growled,

"What are you waiting around for?!"

"We can't get his heart beating again without power!"

(Y/N) had always been good at controlling her powers... but when Tony's life was at stake... all control went out the window. 

Her eyes started to glow blue and the air became thick. 

Flashes of light came through the window and the thunder was loud enough to make everyone cover their ears. (Y/N)'s skin started sparking with electricity, and Thor knew exactly what this meant.

"Everybody down!" The Asgardian yelled. 

No one hesitated to take cover as the webs of electricity bouncing off her skin grew more and more powerful.

Everyone's hair began to stand up and the power surged back on. (Y/N) let out a scream of pain as the strong currents surging through her started to boil her blood, and all of the lightbulbs in the room burst. An ear shattering crack ran through the room and everyone watched in fear as (Y/N)'s arms became engulfed with electricity. She placed her hands on Tony's chest and his back arched up. The electricity died down and just as (Y/N) collapsed to the ground, Tony shot up.

(Y/N) wasn't unconscious for long, but it was long enough for everyone to become worried. So when she finally woke up, everyone was more than relieved. Tony wasted no time in pulling her into a hug. After a brief moment of confusion, she hugged him back. 

"I'm so glad you're ok." She whispered.

He pulled away and chuckled,

"I could say the same. You saved my life at the risk of your own."

she shrugged her shoulders and shot him a wink,

"That's what you do for the people you love."
