Kageyama's POV
Hinata has been acting weird ever since the game started, I'm worried.
I act like I don't care when I really do
I love him
But I'll never let him know
"Truth or dare Hinata"
"Truth..."
What's wrong with you, you've been acting weird ever since the game started?"
"Oh... um"
"Yeah buddy, what's up"
Nishinoya asks from Asahi's lap
"I-it's about Kageyama...."
"And, what is it?"
Oikawa asks
"Kageyama?"
He says scooting away from me
"Oh, yeah?"
I respond
"I really like you!!!"
I was shocked but I can't let him know
"I-I'm sorry but I can't accept your feelings"
Hinata's POV
I start thinking of my dad and all the times he hurt me, he remains me of Kageyama, how, they both broke my heart
"Hinata?"
Suga asks
"Hinata?"
Kenma asks
"HINATA!!"
Noya screams getting my attention
"Oh, yeah..."
Are you okay, you zoned out there"
Noya states
"Yeah and your crying"
Akaashi says
I quickly wipe my tears
"Y-yeah, I j-just need a break o-o-outside..."
I walk outside and breakdown crying
Kageyama's POV
"You idiot!!!"
Kenma yells surprising everyone
"You don't know about his past then do you..."
Suga says with a depressing look
"No?"
"He had a father that abused him, he has trust issues now because of it..."
"W-what!!"
"He trusted you Kageyama, and you broke that trust"
Kenma says
"But I do like him...."
"WHAT!!"
Everyone says
"Then why did you say you don't?"
Daichi asks
"Well, I guess I'm so prideful in myself I didn't want him to know how I felt..."
I state
"Then go fix it"
Suga says
"Can you guys come with me...?
"Sure"
Everyone says, once we get outside I see something I never thought I'd see, especially not from Hinata
He was curled up in a ball on the grass and was crying hard
We all walk over to him but he doesn't notice
"H-hinata"
I poke him and he quickly looks up and backs up to the corner of the fence with a look of terror in his face
Everyone's hearts break
I can't believe I did this
"Hinata I'm so sorry!"
I say hugging him
He flinches
I let go and start to explain why I lied
"Hinata I do love you, I just didn't want to admit it. I love you so much Hinata"
I kiss him and luckily he kisses back
He pulls away and wraps his arms around lad my neck, I take this opportunity and pick him up like how Asahi picked up Noya and walk over to the group
"I think we should go to bed"
Suga states
And everyone agrees
