Heros run in the family not doctors

Intern Katsuki?

Katsuki was always told he was supposed to be a hero because of his family. His papa was Present mic, his dad was Eraserhead, Hitoshi his older brother was training to be one, and Eri was already talking about being a hero.

Sure Katsuki wanted to be a hero but a different kind of hero. A doctor was what he wanted to be ever since he saw a doctor help his dad after a tough villain attack when he was 6.

When people asked what he wanted to be and he told them, There was disappointment in their eyes and they weren't even related to them.

His papa and Dad had no problem with what he wanted to be and was proud of him no matter what but they were a little overprotective. Katsuki understood why he didn't have a quirk and never bothered training with Hitoshi and dad.

Whenever his Papa and Dad took all of them to UA, Katsuki would sneak off to Recovery Girl and help her out. Recovery had taught him everything he knew and was even offering to intern him but he would have to get permission.

Katsuki worked up the fear to tell his family over dinner even though he knew his parents wouldn't mind.

"Papa, Dad I have something to ask" Katsuki mentally gave himself a High five for not sounding Nervous

He saw his dad and Papa look at each other and then at him like they were talking without talking.

"Go ahead little listener" Papa stated happily

"Uh, Can I intern for Recovery Girl" Katsuki mumbled so fast that he couldn't even hear what he said.

"Kat, you're going to have to repeat that," Dad said with a hint of worry in his voice

After Katsuki took a deep breath, he tried again

"Can I intern for Recovery Girl? Please Papa and Dad" Katsuki looked at them with Hopeful eyes. This was his dream and he wanted this

"If Recovery Girl said you could, It's fine with us little listener"

Katsuki didn't know why he was surprised that his parents said yes, maybe he was scared that his fathers wouldn't want him anymore as his parents did at 4 years old.

"Kat, why are you crying?" His dad, Shouta asked

He was crying? Surely enough when he touched his face, his cheeks were wet. Katsuki got up from the table and went to hug his dad.

", I tho,,ught y,,ou guys would sa,y no" Katsuki tried to breathe but it was hard

"Hey bug, deep breaths for me" Katsuki vaguely heard papa say

He followed the hand on his back and took a deep breath when the hand got to the lower back then to his upper back.

"I'm s osorry papa, dad" Katsuki was calm enough to leave the comfort of his dads' arms but he didn't want to, He loved his dad's hugs and cuddles, and if he stayed by his dad most of the time no one said anything.

"Oh, Kat, there's nothing to be sorry for, Let's go to our room"

Katsuki nodded but made no move to get up so his papa picked him up making him whine because he didn't want Papa, he wanted his dad.

He was content and happy when he was in his dad's arms, Katsuki was glad his dad found him when his mom kicked him out of the house.

Katsuki didn't know where he was but he knew one thing, he was cold and hungry. His mom had finally gotten tired of using him as her punching bag and threw him outside and told him not to come back.

Katsuki did not know where he could go, he was locked up in the house and his mom never allowed him to go outside.

He would've been excited if he wasn't hungry, cold and in pain, Katsuki found an alleyway and laid down, curled in a ball. He barely knew how to talk, he picked up a few words but he could barely hear anyone.

Two black boots stepped in front of him, so he looked up and saw a guy with black eyes and black hair.

"Hi kiddo, are you okay?" the tall man asked him

"I-I'm F-Fine?" Katsuki read his lips, he sucked at it but he could understand enough but he also didn't like talking because he couldn't hear himself.

"Kid, why are you out here?"

"Got kicked out" Katsuki hoped he would leave him alone because he didn't know many more words.

"Can you walk?"

Katsuki didn't know, so he tried to stand up just to fall down, he braced himself for impact but that never. Next thing Katsuki knew, he was being carried, The guy was talking but Katsuki could only feel the vibrations.

Present time

Katsuki was curled up to his dad and was almost asleep, he was excited to intern for recovery girl but he would freak out about that later, He was content just to lose himself in his dad's arms and listen to the vibrations coming from his chest since his dads took out his hearing aids.
