It's finally winter!! My favorite time of the year. I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. It was drizzling today. I put some blue jeans and a grey fuzzy sweater on.
Me and Johnny have been sort of a couple for a week now. We still haven't gone on a date yet. I was a little scared to ask him.
I rode the bus to school and got to school at 7:50 am. Johnny was underneath the front of the school, avoiding the rain.
We were accidentally matching today. I smiled at him, he looked so cute with his grey sweater on.
He saw me and smiled. I almost ran over to him, I get too excited when I see him.
"Hey." He said in a sweet tone. I smiled and gave him a kiss.
"Hi." I said as I kissed him. He smiled and we pulled away.
"So, I was thinking earlier.. We haven't had our first date yet." He said with a laugh.
I smiled and laughed as well. "I was just thinking that too. What would you want to do?" I asked.
He smirked and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me into him. I rubbed his arms.
"What do you want to do?" He said softly. I shrugged and smiled.
"How about a double date?" I heard Grace say from behind me. I smiled and turned around. Johnny kept his arm around me.
"That's an idea." Johnny said. Jordan came up behind Grace.
"That sounds like fun, what should we all do?" He asked as he peeped his head over Graces shoulder.
"Ooh I know, there's this new ice skating rink. It opened today. We could do that?" Grace offered.
I'm not great with balancing but it should be fun. "Sure, is that cool with you Johnny?" I asked, looking up at Johnny.
His nose was getting red from the cold. "Sure!" He said with a smile. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Then it's a date! How about tomorrow at 6 pm?" Jordan said.
We all nodded. "Ok, we'll see you guys later." Grace said as she walked away with Jordan. We waved and I turned to face Johnny.
"You look cold." I say with a fake frown. He nodded and did a fake shiver. "I'm freezing." He said with a smirk.
He pulled me back into a hug, collecting my warmth. I enjoyed the warmth of his body as well, I nestled my head into his chest and smiled.
He rested his head on mine and I relaxed in his embrace. I started to feel bad that our first date is not going to be just the two of us.
"I know it's not really a one on one date, but it should still be fun. We can have another date with just the two of us later." I say as I looked up to him.
