It is Monday today but I still feel uneasy about what happened with Mr Humphrey. The image of him with red dangerous eyes kept flashing through my head but I think am just a bit paranoid, but he still owes me an explanation.
"So we have to fly to Mexico in 2 weeks so we ahold probably start preparing for the meeting. Make sure you gather all the data and issues that need to be dealt with and their possible solutions which we will be discussing about on Wednesday in the board meeting." He explained
"Okay. Yes sir." That's the only thing I could say as I was busy pondering about how to get an explanation out of my boss. Okay it's time to grow some balls!
"Umm....sir? Umm....I would please like an explanation about what uhh...happ..."
"DONT YOU EVER ASK ME SUCH NONSENSE AGAIN?! THAT IS NOT RELATED TO BUSINESS AND BESIDES AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PARANOIA! Let this be the last time is that clear?" He cut me off and finishes rather calm and dangerously. Tears start to well up in my eyes. "Y..yes s..sir" I stammer. "Good. Now, get out of my office. Your presence is making me nauseous." He demands. Ouch. That hurt. I quickly run and when I say run I literally mean run out of his office when I bump into someone. "I am so sorry." I say "watch where you're going you little piece of worthless nothing" a woman in her early fifties just says to me. Rude much. "If am a piece of worthless nothing, what does that make you?" I find myself firing back. "Now you watch your mouth you slut!" Oh no she di-in't? "No. YOU watch YOUR mouth. And just shut the fuck up. BITCH!" I say and walk away.She needed to hear that! I was already on edge so her timing is impeccable.
"Cierra please bring the files of the new project in my office now" Mr Humphrey orders. I get the files, adjust my skirt and my makeup before entering his office. I don't want him to know that I was balling my eyes out.
Before I can knock, "come in Cierrra" of course. I get in the office and find the woman that I bumped into on the chair opposite Mr Humphrey. Ugh what's that bitch doing here?
"Cierra I want you to meet my mother." He introduces.
Wait did he just say MOTHER?! His f-ing MOTHER?!
I just called my bosses MOTHER a BITCH and told her to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I life is great. I am SO fucked up!
