When india got home she told me about what's happened with her and Chris so I let her cry on my shoulder. I wasn't gonna call Chris an asshole or call him and go off. Why? Because india just up and left. She left someone she supposedly loved. I didn't know you abandoned the people you loved.
" i- I just don't get it Brooke I was honest with him a- and I just don't know " she sobbed.
" indie I'm your friend and we always promised to tell her that truth right? "
She looked at me in confusion wondering where I was going with this.
" I mean can you really blame Chris you just up and left without a word. He didn't know whether or not you guys were together or not. You basically ripped his heart out and ran with it.
" oh so you're taking his side now. I thought you understood. " she said
" I lied I don't understand I was trying to be supportive but ended up hurting myself. Indie you missed everything my doctors appointments , the pictures, you missed my baby shower. I missed Andrew's birth. You're my best friend more like my sister. I was suppose to be there. I know I said that we could make up for the lost time but we can't. That time mattered to me india you're like my sister basically all the real family I have and you just left " I cried
" I'm sorry brooke I really am but I needed to leave I was lost and didn't know what to do "
" you should have stayed we could have got through it. You didn't even try " I sobbed
She came up to me and wrapped her arms around me hugging me but being carful of protruding my belly. I broke down in her arms. She whispered I'm sorrys until we both stopped crying. I wiped my face and chuckled.
" it not all your fault I should have been honest and upfront with you " I sniffled
" naw you were right but I promise no more leaving I'm here to stay.." She laughed
Short but it was just a filler but I am writing another chapter as we speak ✌
