Zola’s P.O.V.

It was the night before Lola, and I will be able to leave this place. Looking through my plan again to make sure we won't get caught and do the last final touches before going back to bed and getting the right amount of sleep to have enough energy to make it through.

My alarm started to scream at me to get up, and hoped Lo would have enough time to make it across the border without them getting us. Starting to pack the most important things that I would need; once that was done, I moved to my bathroom to get my secret stash of money that I kept away from the other pack members.

I grabbed my thing to head over to Lo’s room because that was where we would leave out of her window. I really hope that she will have enough energy to make it, and just maybe hoping that she did not have a terrible nightmare.

She got her things ready, and then it was time to start a new life.

Lola’s P.O.V.

Shooting up from my bed from a nightmare with sweat running myself down, looking around to look for any danger, and realizing there was none, I tried to go back to sleep.

Not being fully asleep, I heard my door open to see a smiling Zola at the door.

“Hey, did you sleep well?” Why was she asking me that question? She knows that I have horrible nightmares.“No, I had a nightmare again.” Still laying on my bed when Zola pounced on my bed making me jump off it a little, She was smiling the biggest smile i could ever see on her.“Ok, well, it's time to leave finally.”

With that being said, I got up and dressed, got the most important thing that I will need then finally went to my nightstand to get the little money that I had saved up before we could jump out of my window to leave the house.

We strapped our bags to our back,  then following Zola out of the window shifting in mid-air to leave. Feeling the breeze through my fur is the best filling ever, even though I felt the wind hit my healing wounds to stop me from running faster.  Reika was having a blast being able to run and not have to worry about anything.

My legs started to burn, and I was getting slower and slower as we ran, but we could see the border getting closer and closer as we ran. Finally, running past the border, I felt the link to the pack break, but I did not care. Now was the time to start my life. We ran until we could not see the border any more before we slowed down to sleep to gain our energy to run again.
