Lola’s P.O.V

Waking up in the softest bed ever, then the events of yesterday came to me, so I snapped my head to my left to see if Declan was there. He was sound asleep, looking incredibly peaceful like nothing could harm him, trying not to disturb him. I slowly got out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom to freshen up. Coming out of the bathroom, Declan was awake, which startled me because he was just looking at me as I came out of the bathroom.

“Good Morning, beautiful” with that comment, I held my head to the ground and blushed so he would not see it. Without moving, I felt him come closer to me with my head still on the floor and watched as his feet came closer and closer until I felt his body right in front of mine. 

Placing his two fingers under my chin so that he could raise my head and see my light blue eyes to face his ember green eyes. “ Love, No one, and I mean no one will hurt you here” I did not believe him one bit, but I just nodded my head.

Moving away from him and going out the door to make the pack/ club members food, I didn't even acknowledge that I was not in Blood Moon Pack anymore but still continued what had to be done not to get hit by anyone. Getting so caught up in what I was doing, I did not see Declan leaning on the kitchen's door frame.

Trying to get far from him to prevent more damage to me did not work. “No, No, stay away.” falling to the floor, curled up in a ball trying to get away when he carefully came towards me, trying not to scare me. “It's ok. I won't hurt you” I was able to hear him and finally understood that he truly was not going to hurt me. Getting back up from the ground and continuing to work.” You don't have to do that anymore” Looking at Declan, “yes, I do I have to,” not understanding what he was saying. “Come here, let the cooks do it.”

I felt safe with Declan knowing that he would not hurt me. Following him to the clubhouse to go to bed with him and finally being able to know that I was safe while I was sleeping.
