Anyway a new book im thinking about. I was wondering if this sounds good at all?

Description:
"MOMMY!" I scream so loudly I could wake up the dead. "DADDY!"
I run over to them in a breath loss. The man that slaughtered my parents is coming for me.
"Stay away.." I squeak out in my high pitched voice. The man chuckles and grabs me.
"We arnt mean enough to kill the young" he does that same chuckle again and it freaks me out..
He threw me over his shoulder. Hard, I should say. His shoulder blade dug into my stomach and I let out a low grunt.

That was 10 years ago.
Well almost 10 years ago. I was 5 but I'm 14 now.
My birthday is tomorrow. It's the day I plan my escape.
But what I didn't know was what was beyond my room.
What did I really just get my self into?

What cha think? And I need to know if I should add romance or not. Does she meet people and what not. I like getting advice from others
