They arrived at the hospital. Everybody was so afraid. They were in the waitng room until midnight. They finally got called into the examination room. They checked Taylor's pulse, heart rate, weight, height, and blood sugar. Then they did blood work. They sent Taylor to get a MRI. It took another two hours until they got the results. The doctors came in with the results "We have some bad news, Taylor... it turns out you have stage 2 brain cancer." Taylor said "I'm only 16!" "Im so sorry, we are going to have to start chemo and radiation in the morning." They said. Taylor's parents started to cry. Taylor reached over to her phone and calls Nick.
Taylor: Hey Nick I won't need a ride tomorrow.
He could tell she was crying
Nick: Baby why are you crying?
Taylor: Well im in the hospital...
Nick: Why are you in the hospital? Are you okay?
Taylor: Well no. I have brain cancer.
Nick: Oh my gosh.
Nick was crying
Taylor: I start chemo and radiation tomorrow morning.
Nick: I'll be there in 10 minutes.
Taylor: Okay baby I'll see you then.
They hung up.... 10 minutes of silence later Nick showed up.
Nick was still crying. So were her parents. Taylor was still sitting their smiling. Nick said "Why are you smiling when you have cancer?" Taylor said "Everything happens for a reason, God has decided that he wanted to challenge me and I will fight this and I will beat this." This made her family cry even more.
As Nick and Taylor were talking there was a knock on the door. It was a nurse, she was there to take more blood. After the nurse left, another woman was there with a huge amount of red roses. The woman said "Delivery for Taylor Rose." Taylor said "From who?" The woman said "A young lady named Anastasia Owens." Anastasia is Taylor's best friend. "Thank you!" Said Taylor. The woman left.
