Things can only get better

Tigerlilly shifted in her sleep and started to feel around where she was. She felt a pillow and a blanket around her along with the smell of Lassiter which where she remembered falling asleep wasn't a shock. She rose a brow as she slowly sat up on her side and opened her eyes. She noticed she was laying on a bed, she looked around the room and noticed it was Lassiter's bedroom but besides his stuff, there was no sign of him.  She turned towards the door when she heard it open.

Lassiter smiled at her as he fixed his tie. "Oh good your awake. I was about to come in and wake you up to let you know I was heading out for work." He walked over to the bed and kissed her forehead. "Stay as long as you would like and I'll see you later tonight."

Tigerlilly smiled when Lassiter kissed her forehead. "Oh, I'm sure if Shawn has his way I'll be seeing you way before tonight."

Lassiter rolled his eyes at her comment as he stood up. "Let's hope that isn't the case. I rather not deal with him or his tricks."

Tigerlilly sat up fully and smiled as she stretched. "Well if it does happen just think it means you get to see me as well." 

"Very true but also means more me worrying about you getting harm on the case." Lassiter headed towards the door. "I'll see you later if you need to talk you know how to get hold of me."

Tigerlilly nodded at him. "Will," She watched him leave.  After a while, she changed back into her work clothes leaving Lassiter's baseball sweats folded on the bed. When she got home she took a shower to make sure if Gus and Shawn came to get her for whatever reason the scent of Lassiter wouldn't be picked up from Gus. After she got dressed she headed towards the living room and nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw Shawn and Gus sitting in her living room.

"The hell Shawn," Tigerlilly hissed when she placed her hand on her chest trying to keep her heart in.

Shawn looked up from the box of cereal he was eating. "What? You gave me your extra key and told me to help myself in when you didn't pick up your phone."

Tigerlilly took a deep breath walking more into the room. "Yea I was in the shower so I didn't hear it."

"Late night?" Shawn put the box to the side as he stood up. "You're normally in the shower first thing when you wake up and it's nine. And anyone who knows you, you're up at the crack of dawn."

Tigerlilly nodded to Shawn. "Yea had a late night at the bar was closing due to having today off."

Shawn smiled and pulled her into a bear hug. "Good your coming with us in hopes we can sniff out a case."

Gus shook his head at Shawn. "You know she might have plans herself, Shawn."

Tigerlilly smiled hugging Shawn back and before Shawn could say anything. "He's trying to kill time and not think about his date tonight with Abigail was it?"

Shawn sighed letting Tigerlilly and nodded. "Yea, I don't know what I'm going to do with her tonight nothing is really going on until a few weeks from now and even then."

Gus shook his head looking to Shawn. "I really doubt that Abigail would want to see any of those people."

"What people?" Tigerlilly titled her head at the 'how do you not know' looks she was getting from the boys. "What did I miss?"

Gus was still baffled by Tigerlilly not knowing. "Santa Barbara is hosting a week-long fashion thing. "

Shawn placed his hands on Tigerlilly shoulders. "From fashion shows to VIP with the models how do you not know this?"

Tigerlilly could be honest and say 'well been spending time with Lassiter so this stuff doesn't come to mind' but decided to lie slightly. "After I left the modeling world I really don't pay attention to much of that world unless my friends text me. "
