"I dunno man. I'm pretty sure it's only been a day."
"What has that thing done to you. I thought we killed it. You have to trust me it's been months."
"Well then; I've been waiting months to do this."
She put one hand behind my head and one around my arm. For a solid second, we made eye contact. Her lips crashed into mine. It's almost like she read my daydreams. My fantasies... my diary. I did what any sensible person would do when their crush kissed them. Kiss them back. I don't know how long it lasted. Maybe a few seconds, or minutes, or hours. She broke away first. If that wasn't heaven, I don't know what is. I thought. "Sorry that was an in the moment thing I didn't know what I was doing I-" I grabbed her hand. "Honestly I didn't know what I was doing either." She smiled and we looked at the clouds. After a while she said "Let's hope this roof doesn't cave in."
