Five

Katsuki's POV

I was talking with Kiyoko and Yachi for a while now. Their team just came back from the penalty run. Suddenly one of their members came up to us, towards me to be exact.

"Woah!! Are you a manager?! I haven't seen you before!!" This little ball of energy was number 10, that short middle blocker that I saw. I was shocked and stood there in place. My eyes widen and my hands became sweaty with nervousness.

"HINATA BOKE!! You're making her nervous! Sweat is already dripping from her hands!" The black haired setter from earlier. He and the middle blocker were the ones who did the quick attack.

"AHHH IM SO SORRY!!" The middle blocker bowed and I just stood there, again. Not to mention that Kiyoko and Yachi were standing with me at the time.

"Hinata, this is Akaashi Katsuki. She's a second year and is also one of the managers of the Fukurōdani team!" Yachi explained. I mentally thanked her because I was stuck in a speechless mode.

"Katsuki, this is Hinata Shōyō. And this is Kageyama Tobio. They're both first years." Kiyoko introduced me to the duo. I nodded and stuck that information in my mind.

"Akaashi-Senpai, are you perhaps related to the number 5 of your team?" Kageyama questioned.

"Yes. Number 5 is Akaashi Keiji, he's also my twin brother." I explained and Hinata and Kageyama were frozen in place with shocked faces.

"WHAT?!" I looked behind the duo and saw that apparently their team overheard the conversation and were shocked about the information given. I got uncomfortable once more and shrunk. Kiyoko and Yachi noticed my uncomfortableness and helped me calm down.

"Guys, you're making her uncomfortable. This is her first time attending the training camp. You're not making her job any easier so please apologize." Kiyoko explained. Two of the members were blushing and talking about it Kiyoko talked to them. Assumingely, their captain karate chopped their heads and did a countdown before everyone apologized in unison, very loudly. This apology sparked attention around the gymnasium, especially my own team. I turned around and saw my team walking over. Bokuto kind of looked angry and Keiji has a scary face on. Kiyoko and Yachi stepped to the side, not wanting to interfere. Keiji was standing next to me and pulled me into a hug.

"Hey, I hope none of you guys are messing with Katsuki-Chan. I know how uncomfortable she gets and I hope you aren't making fun of her either." Bokuto spoke in a serious tone.

"We're sorry about making her uncomfortable. We were just shocked that she was related to one of your team members." The Karasuno captain apologized once more. Keiji lets go of me and walks over to stand right next to Bokuto. I sit down in a spare chair as Kiyoko and Yachi comfort me.

"This is the first time my sister has ever been so far from any of her familiar surroundings. I would appreciate it if you treat her well. She's not good with interacting with others. Only those who she trusts." He pauses and looks at me. We make eye contact and then he continues. "I suggest that you start off friendly with her. Not too friendly because she can tell who's being fake or not." Every single member of the Karasuno team looked at me and then started shaking in fear.

"Anyway, good game and hope we don't have any more problems in the future!" Bokuto exclaimed as he started to walk away. Keiji gave me a 'stay safe' look. I nodded and stayed sitting on the chair. I noticed that Hinata walked up to me and crouched down to see my sad face.

"Hey. I'm sorry for starting the whole thing. If I wasn't being all loud and obnoxious this whole situation wouldn't have happened. I'm sorry again, Katsuki-San.." Hinata was speaking in a tone that he was clearly upset with himself. I stood up making Hinata stand back up. He looks at me confused and I proceed to hug him. I feel his body stiffen as I hug him. A few seconds pass and he's hugging me back.

"Don't worry about it. I'm always like that. I'm just so scared that everyone would treat me like.. like I'm a nobody.. that everyone would act as if I don't matter in this world.." my voice starts to break and my eyes start to water. We both let go of each other. Hinata gasps as he sees tears flowing. I watch him scurried around to look for some tissues. I weakly smile as more tears fall. He comes back with the tissues and starts wiping underneath my eyes and cheeks.

"Katsuki-San, I don't want you to think that you don't matter. You do matter! You have your team, your family, your brother, and me! There's nothing to worry about! I'll be there to help you get through this, okay?" He gives me a genuine smile and I nod. He smiles brightly.

"Hinata, the next set is about to start!" Kiyoko calls out for him.

"Oh- okay! I'll be there in a bit!" He responded. He looked back at me and suddenly pecks my cheek. I blush and look at him with wide eyes. "Wish me luck!" He smiles and runs off. I become a blushing mess. I suddenly get the urge to run out of the gymnasium. I run towards the restrooms. Once I get there, I turn on the sink and start splashing water onto my face. I sigh as I wipe my face and realize that I'm still a blushing mess. I pull into my hair and groan.

"Hey Katsuki! Oh my god! Are you okay?!" I hear Yachi's voice and realized that she followed me into the restrooms. I look up at her with my tomato cooler face. She gasps and touches my forehead with her hand. "Are you sick?! Do you have a fever?! What happened?!" I sighed once more and decided to tell her, briefly what happened.

"Hinata Shōyō happened."
