Keiji's POV

During the first half of class, I had many thoughts running through my head.

'With the whole team going to the training camp this summer, I wonder if Katsuki will be able to go. I mean we already have two managers and she is also going to be our manager next year... I wonder if Coach Yamiji will be okay with it..'

'I really do think that coach is okay with Katsuki coming along.. this is a chance for her to somewhat break out of her she'll..

'I'll admit.. we may be both quiet and serious but at least I still interact with others when I need to.. especially Bokuto..'

'Actually.. it was Bokuto who persuaded her to be our manager for next year since Shirofuku-San and Suzumeda-San won't be here next year..'

~Flashback~

"Katsuki-Chan, watch me!!" Bokuto shouted as he was about to spike. I looked over at my sister before setting the ball for Bokuto. After Bokuto spiked the ball and earned a point for their team, he exclaimed with glee. I heard clapping and saw Katsuki clapping with a tiny smile plastered onto her face. I softly smiled at my sister before continuing.

After a few more practices, the ball was headed towards Katsuki. I saw her look up and received the ball perfectly. Bokuto caught the ball, which paused the practice game.

"Oya oya! Katsuki-Chan, I never knew that you could receive the ball so perfectly! How come you're not in the girl's volleyball team?!" Bokuto asked wondering where those sudden skills came from. I looked at Katsuki and she just shrugged.

"I don't know. Being on the girl's volleyball team is not something that I'd be into at the moment.." She spoke with a monotone yet honest voice. I remember talking about that same topic with her and she replied with the same answer. Honestly, I taught her how to play when I first started playing. We've been practicing with each other and yet she never decided to take the opportunity to join any of the teams. Suddenly, Bokuto spoke up again and I temporarily escaped my thoughts.

"Well, why don't you become our manager? Even though Shirofuku, Suzumeda, and I won't be here once you take over, we just want you to know that you'll be perfect for dealing with all of us in general. Plus, you get to spend even more time with Akaashi-San!!" I saw Bokuto smile and gave me a thumbs up. I nodded and waited for my sisters answer. She had her emotionless thinking face on while she picked at her nails. Once her head shot back up, she stood up from her seat and gave a soft smile.

"Sure, as long as we all work hard and have fun." She responded and everyone cheered. She quietly giggled and I gave a soft smile towards her way.

~End of Flashback~

The teacher just announced that the beginning half of the school day has ended and that it was officially lunch time. I sighed as I grabbed my bag as I stood up. I looked to my side to see Katsuki already next to me. I always found it weird that whenever Katsuki and I start a new school year, we never sit next to each other in any of our classes. Sad but I'm just glad we have classes together in general.

"Akaashi! Katsuki-Chan! Let's go!" Bokuto appears at our classroom. Many girls start to talk about Bokuto being here but this was a daily thing. Katsuki and I leave our class with Bokuto. We find a place where we could eat and lean against the wall and window. All of us take out our food and start eating. It starts off quiet at first before Bokuto questions a question that has been bothering me.

"Do you think Katsuki-Chan will be able to join us at the training camp?" He asks with a curious expression while taking a bite out of his food.

"I mean she should be since she is one of our managers. What do you think, Katsuki?" I ask my younger sister. She gives me an emotionless expression while her cheeks are stuffed with rice. She finishes that piece and clears her throat before responding.

"I would really want to go because it wouldn't be the same without you guys. I want to experience the training camp with all of you..". She responded with a hint of sadness in her tone. She looked down during the remainder of our lunch and I kept reminding her that everything will be okay. Bokuto promised her that we'll ask coach if she would be able to go. Even if she did go along with us, at least she won't be the only girl because I'm pretty sure some of the other teams have female managers.

Katsuki lifted her head back up showing some tears. I cupped her face and wiped the majority of her tears rushing down her face. Afterward, I tightly hugged her and felt her hug back. Bokuto decided to join in as well as he was very close to Katsuki and I and did not mind. I kept reassuring her over and over again that we will ask for her. Hell, we'll even beg coach for her to come along! Honestly, ever since she first met the team and other managers, everyone was behaving and practicing better than ever. It's like she has this aura and presence that just fixes the atmosphere and suddenly changes everyone. It's actually quite amazing. That's why we need her.

We broke apart from the group hug. I checked the time and noticed that it was 10 minutes before the remaining half of class is about to start. Katsuki and I said our goodbyes to Bokuto for now. Once we got to classroom, the class officially started back up. We got to our seats and waited for the remaining school day to end.
