When Will He Come Back?

(Fair warning, this fanfic was written a while ago and I had no idea what I was doing then- lots of stuff was deleted—things that don't make sense or things that were just eh, so yeah 😔👍

Kirishima's POV:

Recently, Bakugo was taken by the L.O.V. (League of Villains). But this isn't like before. This time, we can't locate him. This time, he's out of reach. I can't hold his hand and bring him to safety. I cry myself to sleep every night because of this.  I blame myself, it's MY fault. No one can change my mind about that because it's the truth. I was the one with Bakugo when he was taken. We were walking home when the whole crew came and attacked us. I couldn't do anything.  I was there, laying on the ground as he was taken from me. I'm not strong and I'll never be strong. I'm worthless. How can I be a hero if I can't even save a friend?

I look up at the ceiling. "Where are you? When can I get you back to me?" I asked myself. I take one of my pillows and hold it close. This is how close I want Bakugo right now. Right here, in my arms so he'll never be taken again. I start to cry. "Come back to me.." I speak into my pillow.

"Kiri dear?" It was my mom, she opened my door and gasped as she saw me crying. "Oh honey.."

"Mom, w-will he ever come back?" It was hard for me to speak.

"Yes, just have faith. I'm sure he's out there and he's alright and thinking of you.." she smiled as she sat on my bed and started to rub my back. "We can talk about this more when you're ready, okay?" she leaned in and kissed my forehead. She got back up and closed the door behind her.

"Thank you, mom.." I was so lucky to have her. Was Bakugo really thinking about me? Yeah, of how much I'm a failure. How stupid I am, how careless. I walked to the bathroom. I don't deserve to be here. I should be in his place. The people here don't need a useless person like me, they need someone heroic like Bakugo. I had..depression. Since middle school.

I layed back down and pulled out my phone. I looked through my photos. I scrolled to see the Bakusquad. All of us together. Me, Mina, Kaminari, Sero, and...Bakugo. The next photo was of just me and him. Still can't believe I got him to pose for the camera with me. I smile. "But that's all gone.."
