Chapter Eight: I think he likes me!

Emily's POV

"Now Emily, don't let him leave, understand?" Asks Amanda. I nod. "I got this Amanda. No need to worry" I say smiling. "OK then. See you later" Said Amanda, walking out the door and hopped into the running truck, that her dad was driving. Then they drove off. I shut the door and wenr back to my room, where I left Cameron. No one was home. Dylon was at a friend's house. It was just me and Cameron. Alone. "There you are" says Cameron as I walked back on to the room. He was sitting on the bed. I walked over and plopped down next to him. He put his arm around me and I felt my face turn red. "Aww. You look cute when you blush" he teased. Now of course this just made me blush even more. Then he pulled me closer, making our faces touch. Then he smiles at me. And just gazes into my eyes. I felt strange......it was something I never felt before. I didn't know what it was, but I liked it. A lot. Then hemsnaps out of his gaze and mumbles something under his breath. "What did you say?" I said breaking the silence. "Nothing" he says quickly. "Oh you said something" I teased. "N-no I didn't" he lied, making his face grow red. "Tell me or else"  demanded.  "Or else what?" He asks. "Or else I will make Amamada kiss you again!" I threatened. He jumped at this. "OK. Ok." He said. "I said...t-that your be-beuti- beautiful" he stutters, nervously. "Oh why thank you Cameron" I said smiling. He smiled back, pulling me even closer to him. I was practically sitting in his lap!  Then our eyes meet, and I get that strange feeling again. My lips wanted to reach forward, and touch Cameron's. But I didn't. Then he leans in like he wants a kiss. He closes his eyes. I lean back, unsure. Then he stops and looks at me, taking his arm off of me. He looked hurt. He looked like he had been rejected. He sighed and looked at the floor. "Cameron? What's wrong?" I ask worried. "Nothing" he says with no emotion. The tone he used, made me wanna cry out, but I didn't.
