Chapter Ten: The Date

We pull into a parking space, and hop put of the car. We cross the street and walk into the restruant. Cameron runs a bit ahead and opens the door for me. "Thank you Cameron Dallas" I say, formally.  "Oh. Please don't be so formal" Cameron says politely. "Oh OK, Cameron"  I say, sighing. We were then greeted by a host. "Hello welcome to Steak And shake. Table for two?" She asks, and Cameron nodes. The waitress then leads us to a table. "Can I start you two off with anything to drink?" She asks as we slide into the booth. "I'd like a coke please" I say kindly. "Pepsi for me" says Cameron, and the waitress writes everything down amdd heads off. "Hmm...what's looks good?" I ask, opening my menu. Cameron smirks at me. I raise an eye brow and he stops. "I like to get the three slider deal" I inquire. "Me to!" Cameron explains. "OK let's get the six slider special then" Cameron says. But before I have time to object, the waitress comes back with our drinks, and Cameron says we are ready to order. "The six slider special" Cameron says, and the waitress walks away with our order. I then notice, Cameron was still looking at the menu. I pick up my straw and tear part of the paper off on one end. I stick that end in my mouth and blow, aiming at Cameron. "Hey!" He explains, looking up from the menu. "What was that for?" "Wasn't me" I lied. "Ya right. Well two can play at this game!" He explains, picking up his straw, doing the same. He blows, but nothing happens. I then bust out laughing. "Hey?! Did you rigd my straw or something?" Cameron asks, confused. But before theirs any time to explain, the waitress comes back with our food. We say grace, and begin to eat. "Yum!" I explain, in between the bites. "This is my favorite burger in the whole world!" Cameron explains, reaching for another. Then we finish and the waitress comes to get the plate. "Would you like to get dessert?" She asks, and Cameron nodes. "We are going to share. A deluxe Oreo milk shake" Cameron says, taking the words out of my mouth. "How did you...." I stutter, trying to find the words. "Know it was your favorite? I didn't" says Cameron, taking the words out of my mouth again. The waitress then comes back with the dessert. My hand reaches for the straw and I began to drink. "Mmmmm! Sooo good!'' I say, as cameron does the same. Then we finish, the delicious milkshake, and head home. " I want more!" I say as we climb into the car. "But you're going to get a stomach ache" Cameron says as we buckle our seat belts. "I don't care!" I whine. " well then your going to have to pay for it" says Cameron, putting the key in the egnition. "But...but I'm broke" I say sadly, then Cameron turns to me. His hand then reaches for mine. I instently blush. Then he pulls me close, an our lips meet. Its been so long! I think, feeling the magic. Then Cameron pulls away. "Still want that milkshake?" Cameron asks. "Nope" I say feeling a bit dizzy, as Cameron backs out of the parking lot.
