~ I'm not very good at describing things.. so I'll have a map of what the house is like, and hopefully my explanation here would be easier to understand... ~

I unlocked the door and turned the knob. I was met by the same old scenery; a hallway that lead to the kitchen and if you turn left in that hallway then you're met by another hallway. On the left of that hallway is a door that lead to the garage and on the right is the laundry closet containing a 2 in 1 machine. But if you keep going straight you're met by a wall with decorative picture frames of me, father, mother, and the grumpy cat. If you turn your heel to the right there's another hallway; on the left are 2 doors: my room, and father's office. On the right is my/guest bathroom and at the end of the hall is a door to the master bedroom, in other words, do not enter. But if you don't turn left, nor go straight the hall to the kitchen, then the other thing to do is not walk through the hallway and turn your heel to the right, meeting the living room. Father wanted to keep a low profile, but he also wanted to use the money he has, so both the exterior and interior are modern.
I walked to my father's office door and knocked, "father, I'm home. Would you like anything to drink?"
"Vodka with ice," a muffled voice replied on the other side of the door.
"Straight?"
"Yes."
I opened my bedroom door and set my backpack on the floor. Then I made my way to the kitchen, where a bottle of vodka, half empty, awaits on the counter. 'He's been drinking. Just this morning the bottle was full.'
I grabbed a glass cup and held it against the fridge to get ice. I unscrewed the cap of the bottle and poor vodka into the cup leaving an inch from the top; not filling it up all the way. I walked back to my father's office, knocked and opened the door. He sat on his office chair rubbing his temples. "Is there something wrong father?" I asked as I set the vodka on his desk.
"Take a seat, (Y/n)."
I took a seat on the 3 person couch. The room wasn't that big. The couch was placed on the left side of the room, the office desk and chair in the middle with a window behind it, and book shelves that reach from the floor to the ceiling on the right side of the room. But behind the book shelves is a secret room that takes up half of the master bedroom. No one knew about the room, not mother and not even the cat. The cat maybe grumpy, sassy and ignorant but she is pretty smart; she can expose the room to others without even speaking. The only people that knew were the private house builders that father had hired, me and father. But I personally think that it's stupid since it takes half of the master bedroom. You can tell there's a secret room once you go in the master bedroom. Since the office/secret room isn't in the middle of the house and it's in a side, you can measure the length of the secret room from the outside.
