It's been 17 days since Makki and I last talked. 16 since he started leaving me on delivered. I've been pretty down about it, but today I've made an executive decision. Today is the day that I'm leaving the house. After getting out of bed, I threw on a hoodie and sweatpants. Grabbing my keys, I get into my car and put on Ariana Grande's new album (34+35 hands down my favorite 💃). Screaming the lyrics to my queen's songs,  I then switch to my second queen Nicki Minaj. By the time I had gotten to the supermarket, I was already in a better mood.

Once I entered the supermarket, I ran straight to the candy section. grabbing all the pocky I could. At one point, a couple employees came and shouted at me, so I had to put some back. I then got some KitKats, instant ramen, and ingredients for actual ramen. That's when I saw it; the inflatable sumo wrestler costume was calling me. I tried to resist its charms, but in the end I ended up adding it to the cart anyway. I even got another one so my friends and I could battle each other. By the end of it, I had ended up paying a good 500 dollars because of all the extra shit I added to my cart. I even bought a brush for Kuroo, since his dumbass obviously doesn't brush his hair.

On my way out of the store with my four bags, a guy came up to me and asked if he could help me with my bags. I said yes, and when I saw the mans face I took a double take:

"Iwaizumi-san?"

Iwaizumi squints his eyes at me, and then a visible wave of realization passes over him. "Are you Mattsun?"

"It's actually Matsukawa, but yeah."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Hanamaki's best friend."

"Yeah, he used to talk about you a lot." That's when I had the worst (but best at the same time) idea.

"Oh, about that, I'm sorry about Hanamaki. He's just going through something right now."

"You know," I say, trying to make my plan work, "I have some stuff that Makki might like if you wouldn't mind giving me his address."

Iwaizumi was clearly in deep thought over my offer. I just really wanted to see Makki again. I want to know why he just disappeared on my ass. After a few minutes  Iwaizumi started to speak.

"If you want I can take you there, just so you can explain or whatever. But Hanamaki is gonna kill me." Iwaizumi shrugs, clearly not affected by that fact. He didn't look like someone who takes bullshit anyway.

"Thank you! Can we go now?"

"Sure, I was on my way there anyway. Did you bring your car?"

Oh, shit. "Yeah, I did."

"Okay, that's fine. just follow behind me then."

Wow, my dumbass really didn't think of that. "Oh, yeah."

I watch as Iwaizumi gets into his car, (which is way to fucking fancy for a supermarket, but whatever), and then follow suit. I was so confident about just showing up with the snacks I bought for myself and Hanamaki immediately forgiving me that I didn't actually think of how it could go wrong.

Shit, what if he doesn't want to talk to me? Or what if he does talk to me, but it's just to shout at me? What if-

I snap out of it when I hear a horn honk. My car is inches away from Iwaizumi's and he's parked. I press the brakes and park behind him, then get my bag from the trunk and step out. Iwaizumi steps out as well, sighing.

"Shit, dude. You scared me there."

I rub the back of my neck sheepishly. "Sorry, I was out of it."

Iwaizumi eyes me suspiciously, and I gulp. I can see why the girls love him. He's intimidatingly hot, but in a good way. His body is perfect, the shirt he's wearing tight so you could see his arms bulging out of the sleeves and even the outline of his abs a bit. Anyone could tell that this guy works out daily. His hair was a bit messy, but in a hot way. Overall the guy was smokin, just not my type.

"It's alright. Are you ready to head in and see Hanamaki?" I nod, and we head into his apartment.

Once we stepped into the elevator, Iwaizumi pressed the top button. I guess he lives in the penthouse.

"Before we go in, I have an important question to ask you." Iwaizumi sounded so serious, even more than he usually does. I straighten my back and look at him, letting him know that he can go ahead and ask. "Do you like Hanamaki?"

I try my hardest not to blush, and my brain runs 29384329 miles per hour. I started sputtering, trying to get a complete sentence out. "Uh- well- maybe? No- yes? No."

Iwaizumi stares at me, before he smirks. "I'll take that as a yes." he says, and right then the elevator door opens.

We step out and make our way to the single door in front of the elevator. I take a second to breathe while Iwaizumi rings the doorbell.
