A tear. So small, so fragile. It rolls down his cheek, crystal clear, a little beautiful bomb. And the second you notice it your world turns upside down. "Hyunjin, baby!" You're too afraid to touch it, the tear. Your hands shake, and you slide them around his neck, pressing your body to his. "Sunshine, what's wrong? Why are you crying, oh my God!.."
"You– you just said–" he hides his head on your shoulder, embarrassed, annoyed with himself, and you feel it, his fear, dancing on your skin.
"What? What did I do wrong??" The fear now soaks into you, making you feel anxious, and you're ready to cry "sorry" just to stop him from hurting–
"You– you said you loved me..."
Your world stops for a moment, the only thing that grounds you is him, hugging you. And you smile weakly, your hug becoming tighter, "Yes, I did. Because I do love you."
Hyunjin sighs slowly, his arms hugging your all, clenching on you. "It's–" he sighs again, lifting his head a little, his lips moving against the skin on your neck. "It's been a long time since I heard that."
And now it's your time to feel it, the small crystal tear that rolls down your cheek with every word he's saying.
