Emptiness. Everywhere around you is emptiness. In the cardboards, and in the bathroom, and in the bedroom. No sound. No light. Everything is just plain, and cold, and empty. And you're sitting in the middle of it all, hugging your knees to your chest, shivering.

Emptiness. It touches your soul too. Crawling under your skin, it fills every cell of your body. It creeps into your heart, and then into your mind, and at some point your body just gives in, allowing the emptiness to swallow you whole. And from that moment you're not a human anymore. Your legs gluing to your torso, your fingertips becoming numb and cold, your whole body slowly turning into the stone–

The sound of keys. The flick of a switch. The footsteps, careful and slow, somewhere in the hallway. A strip of yellow light appears on the floor when the lamp finally turns on. The voice.

"Noona? You here?"

Emptiness shrugs a little, disturbed by the voice. And she becomes even more annoyed when she hears this voice laughing softly.

"Noona, I bought you cookies, come here, I want to drink some tea with you."

You feel it, the tingling in your fingertips when they start to slowly unfreeze. The second later the door opens, the light filling the room. Emptiness screams in horror, jumping away from your heart and mind.

"Noona, aren't you cold?" The boy smiles at you, taking your hands in his, pulling you up. "Fuck, noona! You're freezing! I said it yesterday, stop sitting alone on the floor, you, silly!"

Emptiness curses under her breath and jumps off the window. And the moment she leaves, the warmth fills your whole body. And it shivers slightly, when you smile, tiredly, clutching to the boy in front of you, "Hey, Jeongin, sunshine. Noona just spaced out, I'm sorry. Let's go and drink some tea."
