Tom couldn't find his little girl anywhere. It was like she just went up and disappeared and now-
"You lost something, Tommy?" Tom gave out a relieved sigh.
"Thanks Lou. I literally thought she ran out the front door or something."
"And have the birthday girl not stay for her own party? How rude!" Tom laughed as he reached over and grabbed Lux out of his best friend's arms.
Louis smiled as he tickled the little girl's tummy and made her giggle in her father's arms. "Can you believe this little princess is one already?"
"It's been a whole year, hasn't it..." Tom sighed out, looking down at his daughter. She had a little lavender dress, white and yellow flowers surrounding the ends of it.
"Mind giving me our daughter, Tom?"
"Lou! Hi baby, uhm I thought you were helping out Harry in the kitchen?" He asked a wearily. Lou rolled her eyes as she picked up Lux.
"Mums have a six sense when it comes to their kids, Tom. You should know that!" Louis teased, giving his best friend a pat on the back.
Lou smiled at Louis. "I'm glad someone in this house knows that." She said sternly, giving Tom a glance before she was off back to the kitchen.
Tom heaved out a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair before turning to look at Louis. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm even friends with you..." He trailed off as the door bell rang, going off to answer the door and invite guests in.
"You love me too much, Tommy boy! You couldn't survive without me." Louis teased before he walked off while taking a sip of his beer.
Looks like it's time for the party to start.

"You did it, Tom! You did it. Survived a whole year of parenthood." said Liam as he finished off giving his baby daughter another bottle. His wife Stephenie only laughed.
"It's only a matter of time before she's on her way to her first day of school... oh Liam, be a dear and can you go see if Hunter needs any help in the bathroom? Oh and maybe get your darling wife a glass of water and a little snack." She said to him, a innocent and bright smile on her face.
"Uh.. but I've still got Allison with me and I need to go find Steven..." Liam trailed off. Stephenie rolled her eyes before turning to look up at her husband.
"Liam. I'm pregnant with our four child. Compared to that, getting a little cookie and some water isn't that much of a hassle now, is it?" She said through gritted teeth. Liam let out a shaky laugh and nodded.
"Alright, alright. I- I'll go get you your snack. Come on, Allison." He said softly before he was off and up the stairs to the bathroom. Stephenie let out a sigh.
"Tom, I hope you treat Lou like my Liam does. He is such a sweetheart, oh."
"That was more like dictatorship, Steph."
"Zayn, you musten be so rude." Perrie said to her husband, although the smirk playing on her lips didn't help at all in being serious. Stephenie just waved them off.
"When you two get children, you'll understand."
'Uhm, are we not important here?" Everyone turned their eyes to look at Niall, his arm wrapped around his husband Josh's shoulders while he cradled their new baby boy, Eli.
Pretty much the whole gang was here. And that was pretty much everyone who was at the party. Not many people would come to a one year old's party now, would they?
