I woke up to bangs at the steel door. "What?" I murmured and threw my glasses on. I sat up, waking up Sonia.
Great.
"What?" She said gloomily, she's grumpy in the morning. She noticed the banging, too. I shook Ellie awake. "I'm trying to sleep." She said and turned over, "I haven't had a good nights sleep in forever."
"Tell me about it." Murmured Sonia who got up and banged on the door with the end of her sword.
"We'll have to let them in. Get your weapons ready. Who knows how many there will be."
Ellie tried standing up, but fell and and screamed a little.
"Holy crap that hurt!" She said holding her leg. "Ow!"
Poor Ellie.
"Me and you? 'Again'?" Sonia said, disappointed. "Ok."
She opened the door and started swiping the sword at the creatures stomachs and necks.
I took my gun and shot about 3-4 of them. I wish I could be leader for once.
"RILEY?"
Ellie.
"Riley!" She said again.
I turned around and she was getting attacked by another zombie. I ran to kill it saying, "You still have a weapon. Use it." Currently hoping that didn't sound rude.
Ellie is Kind of clumsy, but hey, we're 12!
Sonia is the leader of the group because she hates fun. She wants to get to Tennessee, but we're now leaving Indiana's bridge is Madison, going to Milton, Kentucky. (Usa) Tennessee has a safe house.

"Okay so listen guys." Sonia said, "we need to get a move on, we never know what's next. We keep our eyes open. Remember. Team Fabulous." Team Fabulous was our little friend ship name back when Sonia was fun. I think something happened to her during the apocalypse.

So we crossed the bridge and stopped at a gas station to shoot some zombies.

We ran towards the woods where we heard the screams. Another scream, then Sonia screamed "STOP FREAKING SCREAMING OH. MY. GOD"

"Help!" Said the screaming voice. "Help me, please!" I could tell it was a dude. "Well, where are you?" Ellie said, sassy. "Behind a rock-no a boulder." He replied. We looked around until Ellie pointed out the rock, or Boulder. We ran around to the back of it to see his face.

"My arm is trapped in here." He said, patting the rock.
"Okay." I said smiling, "well what's your name?"
Sonia and Ellie tried lifting the rock. It moved a little. I'll leave it to them, I'm making this guy my friend.
"Adam." He said pulling his arm a little.
"I'm Riley, and that's Sonia, and Ellie."
"Umn, cool."
"Riley" grunt "help" grunt "us" grunt. ~Ellie
"Oh yeah, sorry." Looking embarrassed I helped them and soon enough we got it off.
"I'm taking Adam to wash up by the river. He was clearly attacked once." Sonia said and Adam nodded. "You two are free, but don't go to far."

*Ellie POV*
I took Riley's hand and we started farther in the woods, the other direction of the other two. "Why did you not help us the first time?! Why were you talking to "Adam" instead?" My leg was feeling better and I wasn't hurting anymore. "You don't like him, do you?"
"Of course not!" She said, and looked embarrassed. "The thought of that is just nasty. Boys are nasty." I kissed her cheek once. Finally were alone.
"I want to be leader of our little group but I'm to clumsy and soft." I said, sitting at the bottom of the tree. Riley sat down beside me. "I know." She said, "But your not clumsy-okay your a little clumsy, and you can be less soft if yiu tried." I nodded. "Remember when I was soft. Now I'm ready to pounce on the enemies."
"Haha, your right." I smiled, "I love you."
"I love you too."
