3rd pov.

Eijiro had just finished his training camp trip with his classmates. While they were there they weren't allowed to use their phones. No one had informed Eijiro on what had happened three days before his return. He was a bit startled to see his parents waiting outside the school, alone without his girlfriend but didn't think too much on it.

He stepped of the bus excitedly and quickly walked over to his parents after grabbing his stuff. As he got closer his smile began to drop. Something was wrong. His parents were standing stiffly without smiles on their faces. He stopped a reasonable distance away and scanned their faces.

His mom's red eyes met his then looked back down. They looked cloudy with the prospect of tears. His dad met his eyes but had a stern unfeeling expression which was unnatural. In fact, all this sadness was unnatural for the happy family. His dad spoke first.

"Have you seen the news?" Eijiro shook his head in confusion. He, along with most of his classmates had been catching up on sleep on the way back.

"What news." Eijiro asks. His parents are about to answer when Izuku ran over. He looked pale and shocked.

"Kirishima. Look." Izuku held up his phone.

Eijiro's pov.

My heart, brain, and breathing all seemed to stop at once. 'Pro Hero Primo Found Dead In Home!' Was what the headline read. I quickly grabbed Midoriya's phone. My heart had started beating again but as fast as it does when I'm working out. I continue reading the article. Most of the article was about what the hero had achieved then came the truth about what (y/n) and her mother had suffered through.

'The pro hero was killed in self defense claims his wife and child who admitted to being abused by the pro ever since the hero found out his daughter had no quirk.'

I keep reading. Apparently the only person who died was that man and (y/n) and her mother were whisked off to a hospital. The article didn't reveal why, or their injuries. Anger sadness and fear coursed through my body all at once. I look up to my parents, and hand Midoriya his phone back.

"Where is she?" I ask. My voice doesn't sound like me. My voice is cracking revealing my emotions I've tried to hide. My mom meets my gaze finally.

-Time skip

I impatiently waited to be told which room she was in. The doctor was trying to tell me how to act and how not to act.

"Just don't be too aggressive." The doctor tells me.

"Okay I got it can I go see her now. Please I need to see her." I look into the doctors eyes. Pleading with my own. She sighs and nods.

"She's in room 529 on floor 5. Just don't freak out about what state she's in." With that last warning I book it down the hall. Walking as fast as I could without running or being destructive.

I make it to her room without a hitch and stop at the door. All my feelings are burying me as if I've been buried in sand. I keep trying to get a hold of something, of myself, but it's just not working. I take a shaky breath before slowly sliding the door open. There were only two occupied beds. One was (y/n)'a mother. Her neck was bruised and she looked way more sickly than the last time I saw her. But besides that she looked okay. I look over next to her and see (y/n).

She was sitting up in the bed with the blankets tucked in tight to each side of her legs. Her left leg you could clearly see from the lump that formed. However her right leg starts with a tiny bump then the rest is flat. Her neck had deeper purple than her mom's and she looked just as sickly. Her eyes weren't bright with happiness as they had been weeks before. They looked dull and darted around anxiously before fully locking onto my eyes.

"Eiji." She whispers my name and I feel my heart break. She looked so broken as tears began to cause a mist in her dull eyes. Sadness overtakes the rest of my body and I can't help the tears that gather in my own.

"(N/n)." I whisper back and rush to her bed. I wrap her into my arms and begin to sob in her hair. I haven't cried like this in years. Her own sobs come and soon enough we're holding onto each other tightly and shaking with our sadness. I stroke her hair when I've calmed down a little. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry. God I'm so so sorry please forgive me." I whisper in her hair when I give up stroking it and our sobs begin to sound louder.

"I'm such a failure of a hero. I knew what was going on but I was too cowardly to say anything. I should've done something. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh please forgive me."

sad chapter. Lol anyways. One chapter left. I want ya'll to tell me if you want a second book. It might be sadder it might be happier. It might leave off on a better note than this is gonna. Anyways. Hope you enjoyed
