Trying To Out Run You(book 2) Complete

A day of work

Hey guys!If you haven't read the first book, read it!Or you wont know what's happening in most of it, while I'm making the book,and posting,you guys can give me some ideas!And i might put it in the story if I like it!-Kat

Barry woke up with his girlfriend beside him as always,and knew he had to be at work in an hour and a half. He did love his job,but sometimes he just wished he could take a break especially when he's a superhero and he has to take a while off from CSI.

He got up quietly,so he didn't wake iris up,which was his fake lover. Iris did infact love him when he convinced her he wasn't In love with anyone else. He went to the kitchen,and got a few things out and started making eggs.

"Well good morning." Iris said hugging his waist.

"Morning babe,I woke up early so I making breakfast for you and me." Barry said putting the eggs on two plates

|30 minutes later|

Barry had finished his food and had gotten dressed to go to work.He kissed iris goodbye and left.

He ran (Like how the flash does because as I said he's the flash.)to work and stopped down a street to walk the rest of the way. He came into the building and looked to the TV,there was news about the arrow,which barry adored even though he was the flash.

Barry walked down to Singhs office."Hey can I have a couple days off?" Barry asked

"Yeah, since you do work hard." He said

"Thanks." Barry said walking out of the building."Ok,I have to get my Suit,and then I can leave to go there,and hopefully meet the arrow."barry said using his meta powers to run.

He got his suit and put it on,than ran all the way to star city.he ran threw out the city to memorize what,and where things were. Until he stopped when he saw the green arrow fighting a man That was huge. Barry watched as he fought the man almost winning until he stabbed the Arrow in the side and he fell. He was about to stab him in the eye when barry ran over and grabbed his arm."Pick on someone your own size." Barry said"Or someone who can beat you." Barry finished and then grabbed a cain and rapped the huge man ing it tightly so he couldn't get out.(He's using his super speed.)

Barry looked down he saw the arrow was confused of what just happened,he was holding his side from being hit and then you could hear voices in his ear."Arrow are you ok?" Someone said

"Yeah,yeah I'm fine." He said back

Barry still looking at the arrow he reached out a hand,"Um...Sorry for the sudden,'hello' but hi." Barry said while The Green arrow grabbed his hand and barry lifted him up.

"Well nice to meet you but I'm leaving." He said trying to walk away and took out and arrow to shoot so he could glide away,barry knew he wasn't just going to leave without following the arrow."Come on,fine I'll follow him." Barry mumbled to himself.

"Oliver what happened to your side?" Felicity asked

Felicity was Olivers fake lover to hide that he likes guys more than girls,only that felicity loved him and Oliver faked loved her,she didn't even know though.

"That Menum stabbed me and I need-." Oliver stopped when heard the elevator door open.

"Damn,yours is bigger than mine." Barry said

"Um... Oliver,whos that." She asked

Barry was about to speak when he felt a gun to his head." Do you work for Menum?" The guy asked

"Ok,you have me mistaken, Please put the gun down before I have to." Barry said not trying to be rude

"And how are you going to do that?" The guy asked

Barry smiled,and every thing started to slow down barry grabbed the gun out of his hand and walked over beside him. Then  time stopped slowing down and it went normal. "Like that" barry said looking at his gun.

Everyone was shocked."Your the flash!" Felicity said

Barry nodded giving the man his gun."Wait you mean that red stripe thing?" Oliver said

"Well...I still wouldn't call it that but yes." Barry said

"What are you doing here?" The guy with the gun said

"Well I keep hearing about the green arrow,and about star city,so....I wanted to meet him." Barry said scratching the back of his head

Felicity laughed and so did the man behind him,"Well then hi-" The arrow said coming closer and put a hand out. "Can I trust you with my identity flash?" He asked

"Can I with mine?"

They both laughed and they both took off there hoods and both looked up and stared at each other in pure shook."Um...guys?" Felicity said

"Barry?" Oliver said

"Oliver?" Barry said

The man then then spit out his coffee he had drunk and then started coughing.He knew that name,barry was Olivers old old crush,and still his crush.He knew he still loved him,and he also knew that he didn't have any feelings for felicity,but he didn't say anything to her.

They still stared at each other until the man broke they silents." Um,it's nice to see you barry." He said

Barry looked over to the man and then recognize him."John Diggle." He said walking over to him and giving him a fist bump.

Oliver groaned from the pain on his side making everyone look at him,barry used his super speed and put him on a table and then they both ran to him."Ok we need his shirt off." Felicity said

Barry (again) used his powers an took off his shirt,"Damn,I wish I didn't get married." Barry mumbled

"What?" Felicity asked

Diggle let out a small chuckle because he had heard what he said."Nothing important."Barry said.

(An hour later)

(Olivers POV)

I woke up to Diggle in front of me waiting until I got up."Ow" I said trying to get up,"You need to rest,and I need to talk to you." He said. I laid back down and turned my head facing him."What?" I asked

"It's about Felicity." He said then continued before I could say anything."And barry,I did some digging on him and he's married to someone named iris west.",My face began to frown."Hey don't get sad just yet." He said."Now I'm 99% sure he's not in love with her,I think he did the same thing as you did,and if you want proof ask me." He said grinning.

I glares at him."Fine,where's your proof?" I said

"Well when we were patching you up,he had to take you shirt off and when he did,and I quote,'Damn I wish I didn't get married.'" John said with a smile.

"That doesn't mean anything." Oliver said

John patted him on the shoulder,"You should break up with felicity,and you know that." Oliver looked straight up at the roof and sighed.

"Yeah....yeah I know..."
