ONE-SHOT PART1: The Misty Wetlands

Originally this One shot part one was going to the first chapter of a story,that I scraped.So,I am going to write the first and maybe second chapter of my scrapes idea,which would be in the form of one shots.Just take note that these are two one shots related to each other.[This is just a random story idea,I wanted to put this story up for fun].

I am falling fast.I feel the wind rush past my ears.I keep my eyes shut,If I open them...Tears won't be the only thing that would come out of my eyes.

How am I even falling from the sky?!I don't recall jumping out of a plane+who would jump out of a place without a god damn freaking Parachute.

The last memory I do have was,when I fell asleep in my comfy bed,after coming back from my evening run along the stretch of the beach.(OFC I showered before I went to bed).

I land  heavily on something,thank god  there is  something underneath me to break my fall.The last thing I need is to go splat on the  face of this earth.

A possibility crossed my mind.....am I dreaming?But everything feels so real.I pinched my arm."Damn I am definitely,not dreaming at all".

Than I hear something,which sounds a lot like a herd of elephants running towards my sore body.A pair of  heavy shoes,land squarely on my back.

"Ouch!What the bloody hell!" I cursed.

I look up to see,who is the idiot stepped on me.I feel all the colour from my checks drain out,my jaw hit the ground.

It is none other than  Gon.Gon from the anime "HunterxHunter".A very popular anime,with a heck ton of fight scenes and some blood sprinkled in it.

"Are you hurt?" Asked Gon.

I start blinking.Gon stretches his hand.I take it without any hesitation and stand up.

Wait!My brain starts to scream at me,If I recall in the anime,I am in the Misty Wetlands,where magical beast reside in.Yeah,I immediately figured out where  I am,not because I'm a hardcore HxH fan,but because of the number tag  that Gon is wearing.

I quickly back off.What-If Gon thinks I am a Magical beast?!I mean he is pretty naive,also I don't have a number tag...Wait...what if that is a magical beast posing as Gon!I mean if I remember correctly.Gon turns back,to go after Leorio&Kurapika....Gon gets strangled so on and so forth,than Unconscious Leorio is carried back by Hisoka.Kurapika&Gon travel to the Second phase...so where the heck is Kurapika?!

"I'm not a magical beast and I am not going to hurt you either,"reassured Gon.

Yeah that is mainly what a Magical beast would say to his/her prey.Also,does Gon have the power to read minds?Or maybe he read my facial expression,but mostly everyone around tell me that they can't figure out what I am thinking about out.Due to my "Blank" face.

I approach Gon slowly and cup his face in my hands.I just realised that I'm a head taller than Gon.I mean I know that I'm not that tall,but....somehow I feel like I've shrinked a bit.

Bright blush spreads across Gon's face.His eyes look so pretty.

"Yeah I believe you,but why are you travelling alone?" I asked after letting go of his face.

"I was running with my friend Kurapika,on the way to the second phase,but I bent down to do something and now Kurapika's Gone!" Exclaimed Gon.

"Don't worry,I'm sure your oblivious friend has reached the ending line,but we've got to run if we don't want to miss the second phase," I said.

I reach across my chest,I touched to cool surface of plastic.Huh!How did I get this number tag,If I fell from the sky?I look down at my outfit and gawk.Im wearing a sports bra with just yoga pants!Well...at least I'm not in my PJs.

"Why are you taking part in the Hunter exam?" Asked Gon.

I shrug,I knew he would ask this question.I am prepared to give him a half-assed answer,but I don't think I should do that.Maybe Gon's moral compass is rubbing off on me?

I extend my arm and smile at him.

"my name is Ema.Do you want to run together in the meantime,towards the Second phase.You know since we are both stuck on the same  boat?" I asked.

"What do you mean by 'stuck on the same boat' ?" Asked a curious Gon.

"It's just a expression darling,now do you want to run together or are you going to ditch me," I teased.

Gon nods his head.

He's such an angel.

"Want to race?"I asked Cheekily.

Gon speeds off immediately and I follow suit.

"Hey wait Sonic!Winner can ask the loser any question!" I yelled.
