Chapter(1): first sight

You hummed a lullaby as you picked the flowers that you stumbled upon, you were currently on your way to mondstadt, you were walking for 5 hours straight.
You were tired from the long walk and wanted to immediately get to the small house you rented in mond, but you couldn't resist the beautiful Roses that were waiting for you to pick them.
It was nighttime and the only light was from the moon that shone brightly.
As you picked up your last rose you put up to your nose and smelled it, a slight chuckle escaped your mouth from the wonderful smell.
You put the roses in your bag and got ready to keep moving to mond.

*CRACK*

The sudden noise made you freeze in your spot, you clenched your fists in fear of what caused the noise.
Maybe it's just a wild animal..
Maybe my brain is playing tricks on me..
...
..
.
*CRACK* *THUD*
You felt your heart drop, what ever was making these noises was NOT a wild animal.
What if its hiluchurs?
What if it's that big group of thieves?
you clenched your fist until your knuckles started turning white, you wanted to move and run for it, but you couldn't, you were frozen in your spot.

You heard the bushes from behind you start moving aswell, and then the bushes from the other directions started making noise aswell.
You needed to get out of there

You took a deep breath before using all your courage to look back.
And the moment you did, your eyes met a pair of blue ones.

you gasped in fear, and before you knew it you started running.
You were still in the forest, you knew there was a place called "dawn winery", it wasn't close, but mond wasn't that close either.

You could hear the footsteps tracing after you, but it wasn't one person..
There were multiple people.

You were hesitant, but you looked back for a second.
Shit!
It was as you guessed, the group of thieves.
But why were they after you?
You felt yourself running out of breath and you were slowing down.
But your legs kept moving.
You saw what seemed like a light bulb and you got your hopes up.
Until one of the thieves Came out behind the trees with a torch in his hand.
You immediately stopped in your tracks, more footsteps came from the other directions and not to your surprise, it was the thieves.
There were atleast 10 of them surrounding you.
You trembled with fear.
"W-what do you want from me?" You asked.
None of them were answering you, until one more guy came out behind the trees.
He looked like the leader.
"Ah~ if it isn't the famous doctor, who's known for her medical treatment and medicines, miss (y/n)" you slightly flinched at him, he was really tall and muscular.
"W-what do you want?..mora?" you asked once again.
The leader laughed at your question.
"Haha! No that's not what we want, we want you" his answer made your eyes widen.
"What?" You stumbled back a bit.
"Ya heard me! You'd be a great help to our clan! 1. Because your a doctor and since Your medicines are beyond amazing, you'll be able to really help us and make great money, 2. Because you posses a vision." He had a sick smirk on his face.
"I-..I do not posses a vision!" You shot back.
He slightly chuckled at your answer, and then he pointed at your bag.
"Then what's that?"
You turned your head to your bag and saw the vision you were carrying on this journey, was glowing, like glowing glowing.
Your eyes shot wide, you were basically trembling at this point.
You turned your head back to the leader.
And without hesitation, you sent a wave of strong wind towards him sending him flying backwards.
"Grab her!" One of the minions shouted as you ran more more and into the forest.
You could hear them running after you but you wouldn't dare to look back.
After 10 minutes of running they were still after you.
You eventually got on the road, you desperately looked for someone as you kept running.
You were praying that someone was taking a walk at this hour.
And your prayers have been answered.
You saw a figure walking down the road, they had their backs to you.
"Help!!!" You screamed to them, but they didn't seem to hear you.
"Help m-"
You were cut off as you felt someone wrap their arms around your torso, placing one hand on your mouth making your calls for help muffled.
Your heart broke as you saw the figure slowly fade.
Then the leader came  walking towards you furiously,while you were struggling to break from the man's grip.
"You bitch! You dare to attack me?! I'll show you not to mess with me!"
He raised an arm.
You looked at him directly, and he didn't hesitate.
He swung his arm and slapped you across the face.
your eyes widen and you felt tears forming in your eyelids.
"Look at me!" He shouted while grabbing you by your chin and forced you look at him.
"You belong to our clan now! You g-"
He got cut off by a wave of flames coming from the west.
You gasped in shock, was this another one of their schemes.
you saw another wave of flames coming towards you, you shut your eyes expecting the flames burning you.
But instead someone swooped you from the thieves grip and carried you bridal style, you opened your eyes and saw a man with red hair and bloodshot eyes.
he carefully put you down far away were the thieves couldn't touch you.
He then walked towards the group of thieves, summoning a sword from thin air and dash at them.
He swiftly beat them up, he was unscathed.
He was hellova strong guy, not to mention good looking too.
You mentally slapped yourself.
Come on (y/n)! This guy just saved you, you should be thinking about thanking him.
He slowly started walking towards you, he look directly into your eyes, now that closer you got a good look at his face, he had magical red eyes, he had beautiful long red hair, not to mention his body was-
"I apologize for being late."
Your face got red and you looked down.
"I should be the one apologizing for the trouble, thank you so much for saving me!"
You bowed.
He didnt say anything, you fixed your posture and looked at him.
"I should get going, thank you again for saving me."
You turned around and got ready to leave, but he interrupted you.
"It's really late, and a lady shouldn't walk alone at night at such an hour, let me accompany you to your destination."
You blushed at his request, what a gentlemen.
"I wouldn't wanna trouble you again! Thank you though."
"Where are you headed?"
"To the mondstadt city."
"Well I also happen to be heading there, how about we go together?"
"Oh uh, okay sure." You smiled.

"The name is diluc."
