FACTS
Pink Floyd is a Cambridge-based rock band, formed in 1965 and split in 2015. The band is well known and has been very important to the development of rock over the years. They also sold between 260 and 300 records, which I think is quite a lot. The concept album "The Dark Side of the Moon" is the world's third best-selling album and the concept album "The Wall" is the best-selling double album. The most famous members were Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and David Gilmour.
