chapter 7, beach part a

Amy's POV

the worst part about moving is packing. Packing is like saying goodbye to all the memories. It could have been worse. I could of been moving to New York, away from all my friends. i am moving to a place that still has memories. I would go to to their house everyday. Even if i was over there for like five minutes, they make my day. I had to choose between friends and family. im afraid one day my choice will haunt me. Im 23, i dont need my mommy anymore. (even though im moving in with my friends and there mommy...) im moving at the end of the week. I have mixed feelings, happy, excited, nervous. and the last thing i want- my train of thoughs is inturped by my mom knocking on my door. "honey get ready for the beach." she says to me. "oh crap sorry i forgot." me, ashley, my mom, paula, jordan, isaac, cierra and bethany are going to the beach. because why not. i throw on sky blue bikini with a flower lace on it and a half shirt over it with jean shorts.

~~~At the beach~~~

Ashley POV

we are all just hanging in the sand of a public beach. except jordan, who knows what he's off doing. im just sitting next to Amy under a tree. my phone lights up, its a text.

-just ask him.

its a message from amy.

-no i already told you, girls dont ask boys!

i reply back.

and as if on cue, isaac sneaks up behind me and dumps a toy bucket of salt water on me. we all start laughing. even amy, as soon as amy started laughing water dump on her head. she looked around to see who did that, untel she looked up, and say jordan sitting on a branch above her. he jumps down landing right next to amy. "well now that you are wet, its time to go in the water!" jordan says giggling. they run off into the water splashing eachother. that leaves me and isaac... he has a seat where amy was sitting. "can i ask you something?"
