Anna's POV

I sit silently on the dock of the Black Lake, small salty tears making tracks down my face. I see somebody sit down next to me and lean back on their hands.
"Are you alright?" Blaise asks me.
"Yep" I answer him shortly not wanting to make everything a bigger situation than it already is.

"Okay then... Why was the boggart your dad?" he asks me a look of concern crossing his face. I felt bad for being so cold so I decided to try compromise.
"I...I can't tell you" I whisper making my fingers into a fist. Blaise grabs my hands in his, a compassionate look on his face.
"I am not asking you to tell me what is going on, but know I am always here" Blaise tells me, looking into my hazel eyes.
"I know Blaise. Thank you" I tell him leaning into his side.

"I would say lets go back to class but after Potter's boggart was a dementor, professor gave us a free period" he says draping his arm over my shoulder. I sigh with relief and he chuckles at me. "Okay well we can't sit here and mope forever. Lets go find Draco" he says standing up and brushing off his trousers and offering me his hands. I take his hands in mine and he pulls me up. "Come on" he says before taking my hand and we run up the hill towards the castle giggling like little children.

"Pureblood" Blaise says before dragging me into the Slytherin common room. The room was bathed in a green light due to the room being under the lake. There were chandeliers that were dimmed down hanging from the ceiling. There were black leather armchairs around dark wooden tables next to the dark bookshelves. In the middle of the common room were three black leather sofas and two leather armchairs in front of the fireplace. Silver ornaments decorated the mantlepiece and shelves in the room and green carpets cover some of the stone floor.

Draco was laying across one of the sofas facing Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle but he shot up when we walked in. He launched across the room in a very unlike Draco way and wrapped me in a hug, lifting me off the floor due to him being a lot taller now.

"You had me worried Anna" he whispers in my ear before putting me back on the floor but not letting me go.
"We need to talk later" he says before letting me go and nodding to Blaise as we all head over to the sofas. I curl up in an armchair and Blaise and Draco spread out on the two remaining sofas. Blaise and Draco begin playing Exploding Snap which gets us all interested. Blaise wins which Draco wasn't happy about in the slightest.

"I'll play with you Blaise" I say before moving over. We play and I win even though I think he let me. We all ended up playing, even Crabbe and Goyle. It was getting quite late when Draco stepped up and said,
"Okay Anna, I'll walk you to your common room now." I smile and say bye to everybody before heading over to Draco and we head out.

We walk in a comfortable silence when he grabs my wrist and leads me up to the astronomy tower. When reach the top he slams the door closed and heads over to the railings, bracing himself on them.
"Draco?" I ask uncertainly. He turns to face me and he says,
"I should have done something that night I-I should have said something" he says his voice breaking in the middle and his eyes turning glossy. I haven't seen Draco like this in a very long time.

"What do you mean Draco?" I say my eyebrows drawing together as I tilt my head.
"That night! That damn night when I watched him hurt you through the crack of the door!" he says slamming his hand into the wall behind my head. I jump a little and see regret fill his eyes.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" he says turning away. I walk around him and wrap my arms around his torso. He places his arms around me too and I feel a single salty tear hit my head.
"He is your boggart, the thing you fear most. That isn't right Anna, you shouldn't have to fear him" he mumbles into my hair.

"I know, but who's opinion would you listen to: The Head of International Magic Office of Law or a third year schoolgirl?" I ask bitterly. He bites his lip before mumbling something.
"Pardon?" I ask him.
"Nothing. We should get you to Gryffindor Tower" he says to me wiping his face before leading me inside.

"Thanks for walking me Draco" I tell him as we stand outside the portrait.
"Of course, sleep well" he says before leaning down and holding my face softly and pressing a light kiss to my cheek before heading off down the stairs. I am frozen in shock and I hear a wolf whistle. I whip round the see Fred and George standing on the opposite staircase.

"What was that Flint?" George asks teasingly.
"Has somebody got a boyfriend?" Fred says as they jump over the bannister before Fred lifts me onto his shoulders. I squeal and he smacks my leg lightly.
"Jeez woman, do you want McGonagall to come running?" he asks as George says the password opening the portrait, and they walk in, Fred still carrying me. They walk over to the sofas where the trio are sat and Fred says,
"Delivery" before dropping me onto the sofa from his shoulders. I smack his leg as him and George run up the boys stairs.

"Where've you been?" Ron asks me as Hermione helps he sit up.
"I was with the Slytherins in their common room. Sorry guys" I tell them.
"Its fine, your allowed to have other friends, right  guys?" Hermione says and by the way she says it I can tell the boys aren't happy I have been spending so much time with the Slytherins. They grumble an answer and I bite my lip and lower my eyes, feeling bad.

"We're sorry Anna" Harry tells me, rubbing my knee from his place on the floor.
"Hey, who was that girl you were talking to in DADA today?" Ron asks.
"Molly? She is Oliver Wood's sister. She's in Hufflepuff. Why?" I ask.
"No reason" Ron says as his cheeks go cherry red.
"Okay then, wanna go upstairs Hermione?" I ask her. She nods and we say goodnight and head upstairs for bed.
